The property had only one room with bunks. You can not sleep before they close the bar and music because its too noise. And toilets are not clean

First of all, you get what you pay for. I’m not complaining about that. For this cheap price, you actually can’t really complain. But the issue is that many of the pictures are very misleading. Sigiriya was filled with tourists but I was the only one who stayed at that hostel for 4 nights. I think there’s a reason why no body stays here. You are greeted by a 50 year old intoxicated man who is in his boxers. He is very friendly but he doesn’t have any awareness due to his intoxication.

Nous avons été surpris par le logement car nous avions vu uniquement de bons avis. Finalement, nous nous sommes retrouvées dans un dortoir avec des insecte/animaux (mites, chien, blates). Les douches/toilettes sont aussi insalubres et loin du dortoir. La nourriture est correcte mais difficultés pour prendre les commandes. The location was great, the facilities clean, most of the staff very friendly. BUT one night everyone woke up from loud voices outside the rooms. I went out and asked politely to be a bit more quiet. They were friends of the staff, not guests. One person from the staff responded me very impolitely and was standing too close. He kept offending me and humiliating me in front of the rest. I stayed calm and polite, never offended him. After that I tried to contact the host but didn’t get a respond...

great hostel to meet other travelers, very nice vibe. good food :) not the cleanest place to be honest but for the price absolutely fine

A very nice place to be if you don't mind skipping sleeping at night. The breakfast was nice, and the staff was nice, but don't expect to sleep until the bar closes. Fun facts: conversations in the bar are better heard in the dorm room than in the bar itself.

It’s decorated really nice, loads of nice places to chill out and meet fellow travellers, also had a bar and food but we didn’t try it. However, they organised a trip to pidrungala for us and told us it would be 1000 all together and then charged us 1000 each. The room was ok but the walls were really thin and not many plug sockets and lockers. Staff were friendly and welcoming :)

Amazing family, great vibes, and incredibly helpful. Even though the WiFi was broken, they let me use their hotspots until it was up and working again which was HUGE for me as I have been working remotely. Not only this, I felt as though I became part of the family and even helped cook jackfruit curry for dinner with coconut roti. My stay at this hostel felt like a send from heaven, no joke. Living with Dasun and his family really changed my perspective on what the word community really means. The most welcoming and helpfupeople and an amazing eco friendly home - you really feel at one with nature and people here. It was also the best value for money hostel I’ve been in and food was also the best here in town…and one of my favourite from all of Sri Lanka (free breakfast too!). I’ll be back. The hostel is run by a super kind and welcoming family who make you feel at home from the first moment. The guy was extremely friendly, always smiling, and very helpful with all my questions. He gave great recommendations about what to do and see in the area. The shared room was perfectly fine, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The price is super cheap and includes breakfast, which is simple but nice. The only downside is the reggae music playing all day and sometimes late at night.

Social and chill hostel with very friendly owners! I really enjoyed my stay there and met a lot of nice people :) Would definitely come back!

It's a beautiful place, but what really makes it perfect are Dasun and Ishan. They are very hospitable and friendly. We played games and went sightseeing together; it was the most wonderful hostel experience I've ever had.

Muy buen hostel para visitar Sigiriya. Buena ubicación para ir a lion rock y la parada de autobús. El personal es muy amable y te ayuda en todo lo que necesites para que tu estancia sea fantástica

Emplacement super et surtout les gens sont super sympa et nous ont montrés pleins d’endroits pas très connus a sygiria sans eux notre séjour aurait été beaucoup moins bien donc un 10/10 pour cet hostel !!

Very nice location. The bus from Dambula stops in front of the hostel. It is right in front of the Sigiriya rocks. The workers are so kind, and they give you the tuktuk service at very cheap price. The water pressure was very strong, it was even stronger than my own house. The bathroom was big. I was so satisfied with this hostel.

had a wonderful stay here, the family who run the hostel are lovely and so accommodating - they gave me some bananas to take away for brekky and also came to pick us up from pidurangala when our driver didn't show up

Magnifique Hostel en pleine nature ! Chambre très propre et agréable. L’hôte et sa famille sont adorables, ils nous ont emmenés pour un safari locale en tuktuk ! À faire au Sri Lanka :)
