Eklo Toulouse

Avoid! Staff was very unhelpful and did not communicate with each other. We arrived at the hostel very late due to a delay on the train and we paid for a late checkout but was bothered every 15 min by housekeeping in the morning asking us why we are still there. In addition we got charged for the entire stay twice even after I tried explaining that to them.

You can’t even cook in the kitchen, there’s no dishes, cutlery or even a stove… The staff wasn’t friendly and the rooms are so cold because of the AC. Got us disappointed!

NO REGRESAN EL DEPOSITO Me cargaron 25€ a la tarjeta y al llegar a recepción me dijeron que era un depósito de la habitación y que una vez dejada la habitación me los regresarían. NUNCA ME REGRESARON NADA. Así que si se hospedan, sumen a su cuenta final 25€ extra

Shouldn't be allowed to call itself a hostel. It is a hotel with dorms, no atmosphere whatsoever, no effort put in to introduce people, the common area is a restaurant for outsiders and also regularly occupied by school groups. Toulouse is beautiful, see the city and get out. Terrible location, as well, no convenient way back once late and public transport has ended.

I stayed in a women only dorm, but there were men who came in the middle of the night and in the morning one of them was sleeping on the bed.

My main problem was the atmosphere : one of the dormmates was a sketchy disrespectful teenager. Woke me up in the middle of the night with all the noise he made. He smelled bad too. The neighborhood wasn't nice either and based on the conversation I overheard him have on the phone in the middle of the night : he may be a local of the neighborhood. Appart from the counter staff and the showers, everything was a let down. No kitchen either BTW, far from everything too. Not recommended.

Some of the staff wasn't warm or welcoming. Made me feel uncomfortable. The manager on duty was also very cold and didn't care about being a good host. It felt like a corporate business workplace. They stared and talked about people in French. I stayed for 6 nights and when I wanted to extend one more night, I was asked to pay double. So I left. Not a nice environment.

Das Zimmer war unfassbar stickig, sodass man ohne offenes Fenster nicht schlafen konnte. Der Witz dabei ist, dass direkt vor dem Fenster eine Riesige Leuchte platziert ist, die einen direkt anstrahlt. Es war praktisch nicht möglich zu schlafen ohne ein, zwei Male in der nacht aufzustehen um einmal zu lüften. Unter dem Bett flogen riesige Staubflocken hin und her und die Klobürste war von den Vorbesitzern immer noch "eingesaut"

The hostel is physically very nice and felt very clean. Where the 4.9 rating comes from is thanks to the employees… while I was checking in a gentleman who’s name I didn’t catch helped and it was fine, however, there was two black girls working as well and they were super rude to me. It seemed as if as soon as they heard me speak English they immediately both decided to ignore me. For example, my key stopped working to get into my room so I asked one of them for help and she didn’t look ...

Très jolie déco, c'est propre et récent, le personnel est aux petits soins. Assez excentré du vieux centre mais en vélo ça se fait bien (je n'ai pas testé le tram dont l'arrêt est juste à côté).

Eklo Toulouse était excellent, des travailleurs très gentils.

Les chambre sont petites. Acces au chambre via le balcon exterieur. Hotel Bien situer. Tram et velo urbains a proximiter. Bar et Varieter de restaurant dans les halles de la cartoucherie.

Fabulous place to stay. Cute and modern, clean and good value for money. The tram to town is right outside and worked easily.

parfait pour un séjour sur Toulouse, personnel très aceuillant!

I stayed in a single room with private bathroom. The room was great. Very modern spacious and clean. Breakfast was 10 euros and quite good. The WiFi sometimes didn't work in my room or was very slow and the staff said it’s often an issue with Apple products, which seemed strange to me. It’s in s nice area just outside the city with a tram stop just outside. I recommend it.

This staff were super friendly. The little private curtain bed nooks really made me feel comfortable and calm during 3 night stay. Due the eco policy, you will not get clean towels or sheets nightly. I would recommend that if you’re staying in a shared room to store your towel in your locker or bed nook so it does not get taken. There is a small kitchenette with fridge and kettle but it is not looked after cleanly so don’t prepare to do a ton of cooking. Right near bus/tram. Would stay again...

Not sure my room was cleaned. Towels were strewn about, and the bed had hardly been made.

really nice no complains the ambience is great and they do have a buffer for breakfast, honestly eklo is the safesafe choice for a hostel

The place was ok. But for it to be a hostel there is very poor opportunity to cook your own food. The kitchen was used by the hotel itself and there was no proper equipment to use. Oven did not work. The kitchen was messy

The hostel bed is very comfortable and it's nice with a curtain for privacy. The bathroom was always clean as well and the staff is very nice and willing to help. The only thing is that its a littlr far away from the downtown and the main attractions in the city, but there is a tram stop right in front of the hoste building.

Vraiment chouette, seul bémol la salle de bain « ouverte » dans le dortoir, c’est pas l’idéal niveau intimité et niveau tranquillité !

No actual common room if you are planning to work (linked with the restaurant). Common room /reception is cold, making it not a place where you can relax or work. The kitchen is small, in a corridor and passageway for the restaurant, and does not have the essentials (for example there is a kettle but no mugs, no kitchen knife, etc...). The dorms have attention to some very welcome details, but lack the essentials, especially concerning the washroom.

Un hostel nuevo. En excelente estado de limpieza y equipamiento. Esta en una zona moderna y nueva de Toulouse, no en el centro ni la zona turística, pero el tren esta justo enfrente y toma unos minutos llegar al centro. Ideal para DESCANSAR, camas con cortinas (que da privacidad y me encanta) Muy amable la gente que trabaja ahi Definitivamente un lugar al que regresaría si vuelvo a Toulouse
