Bisan Hostel

Lovely family run hostel that isn’t particularly social but has a nice, generous and kind vibe. The elevator and self serve kitchen is so handy and they also offer a 23 minute wash cycle in the washing machine for free! The location is very central and it felt safe for me as a female travelling solo. The price also absolutely can’t be beaten. I will be returning to stay here when I come through Cairo in a couple of weeks because it really is just everything you need. Recommended.

Great hostel for very cheap price - sparkling clean, comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and great showers. A short walk from the central El Tahrir square, and few blocks from a street market with amazingly cheap fruits and vegetables. The receptionist doesn't speak English, but the manager is most of the time there, and he's a great, very helpful young guy. He can send you on Whatsapp (+20 1505238364) useful photos to find the hostel (there are no signs outside)

I stayed at this hostel and overall my experience was very good. The facilities are excellent and the staff is very kind and supportive. The hostel is very clean and well maintained. However, there are a fee thing need be improved. At night, some noise can be heard from the road outside, which can be a little disturbing while sleeping. Also, the hostel is a bit difficult to find because there is no signboard outside the building. It would be very helpful to have a clear sign indicating

Good hostel in a beautiful old building in the picturesque Garden City. Facilities are brand new, kitchen very well equipped. Volunteers take good care of guests, shout out to Sama. There is not much interaction going on in the common area, definitely not a party hostel. Very attractive location, and the price is incomparibly cheaper than other hostels of the same quality.
