Hugo & Carters Backpackers & Motel

After years of traveling, this is undoubtedly the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. Do not be misled; this is an old, poorly refurbished motel using outdated photos that do not reflect the current grim reality. Unbearable Odor & Hygiene。The moment I entered the dorm, I was hit by a sickening stench—a mix of dirty linens, damp walls, and harsh chemical 'refurbishment' smells. Despite leaving the door open and the fan on full blast until midnight

I was surprised about the low review on here when I arrived. The place was super nice and new, clean, and the staff were so nice. The only thing is it’s further from the city center and the Mount, but there is an hour bus ride that goes to the Mount so it was fine! Would stay again no doubt.
