I wanted to love this place because of all the other great reviews and how kind all of the staff were and the ease I had coordinating an airport transfer through the hostel. However, after spending a night here, I am extremely confused as to how all of the other reviews are SO positive. I stayed in a private room that smelled like cigarette smoke, had a bunch of yellow stains on the sheets, and a fan that didn't work. The shared bathroom didn't have toilet paper and was just a room with a toilet...

L'hôte me dit de revenir pour 12:00 pour ma chambre à 12:00 il me dit 14:00 ça dure comme cela jusqu'à 17:00 ou ont m'annonce que je n'aurais pas de chambre. L'hôte me dit qu'il vas me réservé une chambre à mes frais dans un autre Hostel. Je vais à l'autre Hostel et il n'a pas réservé pour la journée même je me retrouve ma première journée à Marrakech sans chambre à 19:00. Pas la suite sans me dire l'hôte à fait une ...
I arrived at 7:00 am at the hostel of my flight. The host told me to come back for 12:00 for my room at 12:00 he told me 14:00 it goes on like this until 17:00 or they announced to me that I would not have a room. The host told me that he was going to book me a room at my expense in another hostel. I go to the other hostel and he did not book for the same day I find myself my first day in Marrakech without a room at 19:00.
Unfortunately we arrived on two different days, on both days the rooms that we got weren't cleaned or tidied. This resulted in us having to change the bedsheets of the previous visitors, as well as having to take out their trash.
The staff was really nice and always had good recommendations. The rooftop was closed tho and only one of the the bathrooms where open. There weren’t outlets for every bed, wich is kind of annoying…
Alles in Ordnung für eine Nacht! Wir haben Riad Nomad ausgewählt, weil man dort gut parken kann aber würden es nicht wieder wählen. Das Hostel wurde zwei Tage vor unserer Ankunft umbenannt zu Palm Hostel deswegen konnten wir es nicht auf Google Maps finden und mussten uns in Marrakech zurechtfinden und rumfragen. Das Privatzimmer hatte kein Fenster und hat nach Schweiß gerochen, außerdem ist es so hellhörig, dass man jeden Schritt im Foyer hört. Das Frühstück auf den Fotos sah ganz le...
Everything in Ordnung für eine Nacht! We chose Riad Nomad because you can park there but would not choose it again. The hostel was renamed Palm Hostel two days before our arrival so we couldn't find it on Google Maps and had to find our way around Marrakech and rummage. The private room had no window and smelled of sweat, besides it is so damn loud you can hear every step in the lobby. The breakfast on the photos looked quite delicious.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable, but not too clean. What was not so good is, that there were random dudes sitting in front of our room all the time smoking (which was against the rules) and watching things and talking loudly. the walls were super thin, with a very thin window, which is why even in a private room there was no privacy, I felt like we were sharing the room with them. we are not sure if they were even guests, one night we couldn't sleep because of noise :((((

I liked my stay at the Palm hostel. My private room was comfortable and very spacious. Location is outside of the main tourist areas, so I got around by taxis and walked one day. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Eric’s breakfast is a must, delicious and so fulfilling! The WiFi was ok for browsing, but I went to another place in town to work from. The hostel is under renovation, therefore some areas will likely be improved in a few months.
Great value for money, I stayed here twice and each experience was very pleasant. I choose a private room which was clean and comfortable. staff were very helpful

Had a cosy night at the all-female dorms and extended a further night. friendly and helpful staff. hostel has a relaxed atmosphere, would highly recommend!
its a new hostel with a lot of potential. overall a good experience. staff are welcoming and speak great English and multiple other languages which makes communication easy. the location is away from the busy streets but still close to the markets. all basic amenities are available for the booking price, good value for money

Nice place with a welcoming vibe from the moment I arrived The beds were comfortable, check-in was smooth, and there was a BIM literally a minute walk away Felt like a safe and easy base for exploring the city Would stay here again for sure 😊

Great place to stay for my first time visiting Marakesh. Can easily get to the ancient medina and town centre. Hostel is simple and minimalist but has everything for a comfortable stay. Staff are very welcoming and amazing value for money

perfect place to relax after spending the day exploring marrakech, staff always friendly and happy to help. the location was a plus as it was away from the crowded medina - would recommend!!
loved this hostel, we extended for 2 more nights, super helpful and friendly guys at reception, location is walking distance anywhere in the city, provided all the necessary amenities, overall value for money
super friendly and helpful staff! quite location, perfect for relaxing when you have spent the day going to tours and excursions. highly recommend the breakfast, Erik made us a delicious breakfast, one of the best I have ever had at a hostel. Overall great experience and fully recommend
it was my first time in Marrakesh and this hostel was great, met some cool people. Hostel had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and staff always willing to help with everything. Planning to book this hostel again when we do a group tour of Marrakesh
I cannot recommend Palm Hostel enough! The location is ideal—tucked away in a quiet, safe neighborhood, so you get a great night's sleep, but it's still easy to get to all the main attractions. The staff here are absolute legends; super cool, friendly, and always happy to help with recommendations. And the breakfast? Honestly, the best I've had at any hostel. Delicious, fresh, and a great way to start the day. 10/10!

We had an amazing stay. The staff is super friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely come back.

The hostel was secure, the staff was welcoming and helpful, I met great people there and had a great stay.
would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in a cozy hostel to relax in after a long day of activities and excursions. very pleasant atmosphere. staff were always helpful and engaging. the hostel is new but the owners are trying to maintain a very good standard.
