We booked a private room, we received a very small room with NO windows and it looked nothing like the rooms online. Also it was next to the reception and we heard the staff’s phones/music and people going in and out all the time. When we asked for another room with windows, we had to pay extra. Also, as my sister is allergic to alpaca wool, we explicitly asked the staff several times not to put wool on her bed, but still they did. Bathrooms were gross, bedding dirty and breakfast poor.
El sitio está bien, la habitación muy espaciosa. Pero el techo del baño estaba lleno de mojo negro/verde y olía bastante mal. Un riesgo para la salud
The site is fine, the room is very spacious but the ceiling of the bathroom was full of black/green mojo and smelled pretty bad.
Sheets were dirty, one toilet and shower for many guests. At times toilet roll ran out and was not replaced. Most of the staff were really kind and friendly but one was quite rude and made us feel uncomfortable. Breakfast is just bread and jam, not great ahead of a day hiking.
While nice staff I would like to note for other travellers: -sheets were stained -shower was mouldy -there are signs saying ‘do not use the kitchen’

We stayed for 4 nights in total, it wasn’t bad enough for us to change but there were definitely better places for similar price.
It Is a really great place, very nice And calm. Very helpful staff! I Will come back for sure!
Generally good, with a few features that let it down. Staff were lovely but sometimes difficult to find, not being at reception. A cleaner came in to clean our room without knocking while we were still in there in bed. Our room was also only a plywood sheet away from the office, where staff often were after 22:00, sometimes these staff were louder than we would have liked and this did disrupt our sleep. Bed linen smelled clean but the quilt had the odd stain on it. The balcony view was beautiful
Nice and quiet place. Not that near to the Plaza de Armas but still very safe. You can't use the kitchen if the guests are having paid breakfast, and there's no filtered water available for the guests.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, good location, comfortable bed, big room. Wifi did not work in my dorm room, only one shower and toilet for multiple floors, no lockers in dorm.

Excelente lugar para quedarse en Huaraz, el personal es muy amable y atento en lo que necesitas, siempre limpio y puedes ocupar la cocina que es de gran ayuda para guardar comida, además de que tienen consigna para equipaje, 10/10, súper recomendado
Excellent place to stay in Huaraz, the staff is very friendly and attentive to what you need, always clean and you can occupy the kitchen which is a great help to store food, plus they have a baggage compartment, 10/10, super recommended
Ambiente bem acolhedor, o staff bem simpático, me ajudou com os passeios, foram bem pacientes. O hostel é bem limpo, o dormitório feminino que fiquei tinha 3 camas de solteiro, be m espaçoso (acho que faltou só um espelho no quarto jaja). Q água do chuveiro bem quente e reconfortante após um dia de passeio. O hostel não fica tão no centro, mas ainda assim é bem localizado, tudo é perto, rápido de chegar na Plaza de Armas e em qualquer outro lugar. A rua é bem tranquila. Com certeza ...
The hostel is very clean, the female dormitory I stayed in had 3 single beds, be m spacious (what we were missing was only a mirror in the room jaja). Q shower water very warm and comforting after a day of walking. The hostel is not so in the center, but still it is well located, everything is close, quick to get to Plaza de Armas and any other place. The street is very quiet. I would definitely come back.

Las instalaciones son limpias y bastante ventiladas, las personas que atienden son muy amables, necesité usar una computadora y ellos me prestaron la suya. 10/10
The facilities are clean and fairly ventilated, the people who serve are very friendly, I needed to use a computer and they lent me theirs.
Excellent place, great hosts. Nice building with plenty balconies and nice kitchen on fourth floor. Comfortable beds.

El sitio está bien, la habitación muy espaciosa. Pero el techo del baño estaba lleno de mojo negro/verde y olía bastante mal. Un riesgo para la salud

Hermosa! Un gran ambiente un buen lugar para relajarse con buena vista al nevado, el host es muy amable y tiene muy buena información y te orienta con los tours
A beautiful building with comfortable rooms, 5 min walk from the centre of Huaraz on a quiet street. Very friendly and helpful staff, hot showers, good water pressure. Bed made and towels changed daily, except Sunday :) Very clean. Not a party hostel, but we met several other travellers in common areas during our stay (9 nights). Great value for $. Rooms are noisy as the building is very echoey, and lots of people get up between 4 am and 6 am to go hiking, but nothing ear plugs can’t fix!
