only cold water available, kitchen didn't fully work, bunk bed didn't have a rail so the overall hostel isn't really good nor well equipped

Bathrooms need renovations urgently.

The staff was friendly, however their knowledge of the basic operations was lacking: credit card reader was out of charge when we arrived, only one key was handed out to us for a private room with a 5-person capacity, staff was unable to answer questions regarding parking regulations around the premises. Regarding security; 2 situations made me wonder: a dorm mate not locking after exiting the room, and one person sleeping fully dressed on the couch in the kitchen in the middle of the night.

My room was nice. The atmosphere seemed rather dull. The bathrooms were… weird.

Pos: Nice little hostel in the middle of Sliema. Everything is within a walking distance. The room was prepared very neatly. The hostel has a common kitchen and a roof terrace to hang out. Neg: No events seem to be regularly organized by the hostel, at least not during my stay. The reception is only open regularly in the morning and early afternoon, though hostel volunteers were also there in the evening. The common shower and toilet were quite filthy and the door could not be locked from inside

Dirty bedsheets with ants and stains on them and they didn’t smell clean.The bathrooms were okey.The rooms even though they have a lock they don’t lock and anybody from the hostel can enter any room.The stuff are nice and really helpful.The location is amazing and there is a fridge in the room which is great.The oven in the kitchen doesn’t work.

La ubicación está bien, en un lugar tranquilo y sin ruido. Baño regular, la puerta no cerraba muy bien, ninguna de las dos, el agua caliente iba y venía. Por todo lo demás, la habitación estaba bien, había buen espacio. Los espacios comunes estaban bien y buen trato.

Nothing special, everything is in order but there is not really anything that stands out. Best thing were the dorms that were spacious with comfy beds. Lack of social vibe in my opinion.

I loved the overall vibe of the hostel. The painted walls give it a very interesting personality. Mosts guests were very sociable. The staff was super nice and friendly. I enjoyed many good conversations with them. Would definitely recommend this place to fellow travellers.

Great. Mais réveillé à 7h par les travaux de la librairie en face ...les lits qui grincent...sinon super accueil par 3 jeunes françaises.

it’s a great hostel considering it’s one of the cheapest in malta & the location is fab, right on the beach!! the staff are very nice & though it’s a pretty basic bed set up it’s very comfy & clean. thanks!!! (it’s also super safe!!)

My stay at Granny's Inn was really pleasant. The girls taking care of the hostel were super nice, and the host Julia was a delight to meet. It has a very homely vibe and the stay was pretty much hassle-free.

we stayed for 4 nights in the female dorm and had a great experience. beds were comfortable, rooms and bathrooms were clean. the rooms had lockers (i didn't have a lock so the staff borrowed me one) and staff was super helpful and lovely to chat with! the location was also great, situated on a quiet street but ~5 min walk from the main area and beach:) lovely cafés around. although the room had no key, we weren't worried about our safety at all since there is cctv and code for entry to the buil...

Hostel was perfect! The staff as also the owner is super nice:)

Stayed for a couple of nights in April. Place was spacious, and clean, sociable by day, quiet at night. The rooftop garden is amazing. It was easy to get to Valetta by water taxi and Mdina on the bus. Super close to several delicious and affordable food options. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall very good. Had to pay for a towel which is a bit annoying because using my own it gets too wet. Still worth it definitely

I had the most amazing time at Granny's, so much so I stayed for another 2 weeks. The place is kept very clean. Beds are comfortable. The overall vibe of the place is chill with unplanned social gatherings on the rooftop and terrace some evenings. The owners Aaron and Julie are two of the nicest people. You will feel at home here. - Thank you so much, I will miss my Granny's bunk and Malta. Slàinte Mhath to you all! 🍻🏝️❤️

Staff was SO kind and friendly! Nice open atmosphere with a bunch of common rooms and bustling kitchen area when I was there. Bed linens could've felt a little newer/cleaner. Overall had a good experience and would return.

A simple hostel with friendly staff. No luxury but has what I needed for a short stay. Quiet neighborhood and walking distance to most interesting places.

Nice cute hostel in the center of Tas-Sliema. Easy access to the sea and all important buslines to Valletta, San Giljan and the rest of the island. Everyone there was really friendly, I would definitely come again!

Super séjour de 5 nuits dans cet hostel ! Un personnel très agréable, et bienveillant. De belles rencontres, une bonne ambiance avec les roomates et une localisation parfaite, proche de tout (Liddle, pharmacie, plage, etc) je recommande ! C'était ma première expérience en auberge de jeunesse et ça s’est très bien passé 😊

I had an amazing stay! The owner gave me cake on my first morning and made me feel so welcome! All the staff are so friendly and would definitely stay again if i was visiting malta!
