Pinx's Hostel

The rudest staff ever. The female (27-39 y. o., black hair, tattoo on right shoulder) yelled at me. She yelled at her Indo staff too, who were scared like mice. Another female staff (23-25 y. o, headscarf) avoids answering questions about dirty rooms and bedbugs. The owner of the hostel was contacted repeatedly and never answered. The whole place is sketchy. AVOID!

Fix …. Tidak recommend… banyak bed bug. Alias kutu busuk..

I stayed here on January 30, 2026 for one night and had a really bad experience. The kitchen and common areas were full of mosquitoes, which made it uncomfortable to spend any time there. Worse, I woke up around 6am covered in bites on the back of my neck and around my waist that looked like bed bug bites. I went downstairs to let the staff know and asked if a refund was possible, but I was told it wasn’t. The hostel is very cheap at around $7 USD a night, but cleanliness was still not acceptable. The sheets looked old and didn’t seem properly laundered, and the pillow smelled extremely bad, to the point where it was hard to use. This place really needs a deep cleaning and all the pillows should be replaced. I understand budget hostels won’t be perfect, but basic hygiene and pest control are non-negotiable. I would not stay here again.
