Hostel Tabor Ljubljana

Not clean, shower and toilets disgusting Breakfast should be optional, all in all not good and way too expensive for what you get. No recommendation!

Overall it was clean and nice, very spacious rooms, I don't think there were enough toilets and showers for everyone, no changing rooms in the shower so it made it very difficult to change in the toilets/showers. The staff was very friendly and the spaces were clean.

I‘ve stayed for 2 nights in the hostel. I‘d say it was alright, just didn‘t really feel like a hostel. There just wasn’t much going on and you didnt connect with anyone. Tbf theres been a big group of students at the same time so maybe just everyone was intimidated by that.

Beware of booking this hostel, there are 2 buildings. One seems nice and one appears to be an abandoned boarding school. Main door is always wide open which made us feel really unsafe. The shower facilities were bad, there was an awful smell and they seemed unclean. Area is close to the centre, however as two young female traveler’s, walking to the hostel in the evening felt highly unsafe as the surrounding area seemed dodgy. Not sure why reviews haven’t highlighted these issues, very confus...

My boyfriend and I booked a prived room. We saw pictures of a double bed. But it were two seperate you couldn't put together. So in the end it was better to book a shared room

A cheap hostel, and it feels cheap. If you're looking for even a mild level of comfort, stay clear. The bed is small and the mattress is paper thin. The pillow is almost non-existent. My room's light globe died a few minutes after arriving, but there was no spare room so they gave me a lamp (they fixed it a few hours later). The fly wire was broken, and with no aircon or fan, the room was a sauna. The towel is smaller than a bathmat. Payment is cash-only, which is super suss for such a big place

The hostel is massive and has 2 buildings. The buffet breakfast included is alright but nothing spectacular. The hallways are dark and it felt like you were in some sort of horror film sometimes. The kitchen is also messy and people steal food. The rooms are nice with your own desk and wardrobe but there is no available locker

Basic but has everything one needs and good location. Hallways and rooms are quite noisy.

No pude pagar con tarjeta por lo me retuvieron el pasaporte hasta hacer el pago. Los baños son escasos para la cantidad de gente que hay en cada planta. El desayuno fue poco variado. En general, no es un hostel en el que pasar una temporada; es pasable para un par de noches.

Avec tous les avis positifs nous pensions tomber sur un établissement propre et agréable, tout le contraire les douche du troisième étage son extrêmement sale au point où nous nous ne somme pas lavé, cafards retrouvé dans les toilettes, fenêtre de notre chambre cassé, ménage oublié !! It’s gives school trip vibes, many kids and big shared bathrooms. Staff was really nice, and I liked the breakfast that was inklusive. Location is very good, very close to train station and old town. Didn’t experience it as a social hostel more like a „Jugendherberge“ ;)

Muy buen hostel, muy bien localizado, amplio y con instalaciones muy cómodas. Hay recepción 24 hs y permiten dejar el equipaje en una sala bajo llave fuera del horario de la estadía.

This hostel has been a school before ! u'll feel it .Like:Located perfectly between the central station & old town . Amazing room(for3) , hudge and with a personal desk and wardrobe . 1 Towel & basic breakfast included. Unisex wc and Showers , not too busy . Good choice if you plan on being outside most of day or are traveling in a group as there is not much of a social atmosphere. The rooms are really spacious and you also get a free towel.

Super Hostel um die Stadt zu entdecken! Wir haben uns sehr über das günstige Einzelzimmer gefreut und alles war sauber. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut!

Quite weird hostel. Idk if it’s just the room I got but I never saw any other people. Completely dead vibe everywhere in common spaces as well. Was like an old abandoned children’s school pretty weird probably wouldn’t go back

Un très bon séjour à l'hostel Tabor, un internat qui se transforme en auberge l'été. Tout y est très bien aménagé, avec des petites chambres contenant tous les équipements. C'est dommage que le petit-déjeuner soit obligatoirement inclus dans le prix, car cela ne laisse pas le choix aux voyageurs (en revanche, il est délicieux). L'emplacement est top, je vous conseille pour quelques jours dans cette magnifique ville.

Très bonne expérience ! Localisation dans la ville idéale, parking gratuit un vrai avantage.

Ottima opzione per soggiornare a Lubiana e muoversi a piedi!! Colazione compresa super!!

Very unsocial hostel, beds a decent size but the pillow is rock solid. The floors are very creaky everywhere and the blinds were ripped and blocked out no light, so terrible if you’re a light sleeper. Bathrooms were grotty and half of the toilets were out of order? Vibes were just very weird here, you can hear doors opening and shutting all night. I do not recommend staying here at all!!

Very Good ! The rooms are spacious and clean. The position of the hostel is just perfect and allow to go in the center really quickly

If you only need a bed for a night, this is a good option. But it's not the most comfortable place - very hot during the summer (no AC and bad circulation in the room, if you open windows then mosquitos come in) and has the old water smell.
