Serenity Eco Guesthouse and Yoga

Not the best experience. The place is filled with hippies and the place is old and dirty.

A good place if the only intent was to focus on Yoga. We had an unfortunate event at check in the AC was broken. The room was changed on repeated request but the reception closes at 10pm and no staff member is on site post 10pm apart from just one Gaurd at the gate for any issue. The place is strictly no smoking and no alcohol which was not very clear on the listing. The included breakfast was also ok-ok. The only plus was that cleanliness levels were good!!

Nice hostel! Really chill vibe and great facilities for Yoga. Excellent breakfast and super close to the beach.

Serenity as a name is very fitting.

The dorms are very comfortable, you have a lot of space to store your staff out of your backpack and two lockers for each bed. Professional and super skilled yoga teachers. Not a social hostel so I would suggest it only for people who wants to do good yoga and stay on their own

I've been back 3 times now. Great food and great staff. Close to the beach. The only problem is that it's getting a little busy nowadays. The yoga classes can get a little busy, the spa can also be booked out. The price is also a little bit high for a hostel considering there isn't air conditioning so I find the rooms a bit uncomfortable for sleeping.

It’s great if you enjoy yoga. But the classes are not free. You have to pay to signup. The private room is very small. Just fits the bed with barely any space to walk around. Yes there are bugs since there is garden all around. The AC also dosent really work if that’s important to you for night sleep. The reception staff barely speaks English and it’s hard to communicate or get help. They all are kind though. Loved the breakfast and the overall vibe. Walking distance from the beach

Pros and cons of my trip: Pros 1. The location couldn’t be better! 3 minute walk to one of the most popular beaches in Bali 2. The breakfast was amazing! It was included in the price and is vegan! 3. I am a yogi and this place felt like heaven to me, better than I had anticipated. Classes were good and varied everyday, and they organise regular workshops. Also very cheap prices for classes, spa and vegan food compared to what you get outside. They even provide a mosquito repellent lotion for free in the room. Breakfast is buffet and changes everyday, all vegan and nutritious. If you stay here it feels like you are pampering yourself, despite being a hostel.

Wonderful warm and friendly service. Great communication, clean, comfortable, and beautiful surrounds in the complex. Food was top quality! Would recommend and plan on returning. Thanks Serenity team for a fabulous stay 🙏🏼

Absolutely adore this hostel and would recommend to anyone. It is so peaceful and serene, a perfect getaway to break up the busy vibes of Canggu. The complimentary breakfast is amazing as well. The yoga classes are also amazing. Everything I could have imagined and more. I will be coming back!

Highly recomendable. Especially when it is your first trip to Bali just book a room and you can leave your stuff and look around. Or just stay the whole time and enjoy the yoga classes from the mornings to the evenings with the best teachers I have met so far. there a vegan restaurant in the hostel and opposite lots of other culinary choices. in five minutes you get to the beach. so everything very central if I go back to Bali, this will be my first choice to stay.

Love this hostel, the staff are so friendly and the pool and yoga available is amazing. They have a really good breakfast too.

i have never written a review for a hostel before and i have been to 30 countries. this one is by far the best i have been too for what it was. the staff were the sweetest people ever, your bed gets made everyday which is such an incredible touch. but the serenity was perfect for a relaxation experience, and the location was immaculate for a quick walk to the beach or to explore canguu. have recommended to multiple friends already!

Easily one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help. The place was clean, location central and the quality of yoga unbelievable. I can’t wait to come back.

Such an amazing hostel, the yoga was brilliant, the food was phenomenal. The only comment is that it could do with better mosquito nets, woke up in the morning with 2 mosquitoes inside. But other than that, this place is absolutely incredible!

Fantastic accommodation for price point, in great location with wonderful facilities. Yoga schedule was diverse and wonderful teachers, Alkaline restaurant was delicious and well priced and staff were lovely. Massages were awesome and was provided with service facilities like laundry, super easily. Highly recommend for a chilled out, yoga centred stay.

Ein wunderschönes, sauberes Guesthouse – eine echte Ruheoase im lebhaften Canggu. Mein erster Aufenthalt in einem Yoga-Guesthouse und meine erste Yoga-Stunde waren großartige Erfahrungen! Das Frühstück war stets lecker und bot eine ausreichende Auswahl. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Hinter dem Yogi Dorm führt ein Weg entlang, auf dem auch nachts gelegentlich Roller fahren. Durch die offene Bauweise ist das recht laut. Andere Schlafsäle kann ich nicht bewerten, aber insgesamt eine tolle Erfahru...

Really loved it here. Our room was beautiful and the stuff was always kind and wonderful. Its only a few meters to the beach and multiple food options. Also really enjoyed the many yoga class options and the pool.

The space is beautiful and peaceful. There are so many lovely little places to sit and relax. Just far enough away from the neon annoyances of canggu but close enough to walk there quickly. The breakfast that comes with the room would have been nice but I couldn’t eat any of the food. It looked good though. Most vegan food I’m allergic to, so I was stuck. My only issue is it advertised it had AC, but my room didn’t. There was a fan, but no AC. It was pretty hot in the room.

Unmissable place to stay if you are in Canggu. Perfect for solo travellers too as most of us are here on our own. It's like people who want to have a chill time and at the same time open for meeting others. Loved serenity
