Kites Hostel and Rooms Goa

I was scammed by this hostel. I booked this place close to two weeks in advance, paid the booking fee to Hostelworld and sent a confirmation email to the hostel. When I arrived, I was told that my booking was not recognised, leaving my friends and I stranded without a hostel. After contacting Hostelworld I still have not received a refund. Please avoid this hostel at all costs.

On arrival the manager informed that he wasn’t aware of any booking made through booking.com and that I had to book directly for an exorbitant price! Very unprofessional! Disappointed with hostel.com for charging us the booking advance and not refunding!

I really don’t understand why it has such a bad rating. The stuff was lovely, the dorm was fine for the price and the area is beautiful. Def recommend to stay there.
