Candles in the Wind

Probably the worst value for money of my 140 countries visited. It is 40 usd for night ( get ready to pay more that you will see from hostel world) in a 9 room bedroom which was a narrow attic with no ventilation, of course not air conditioning, dirty, it was just the place o where the guy puts garbage. Not sidney, not Oslo, Iceland, New York, just a village of Tobago. Crazy!!! I don’t understand how this place is possible to rent, a chinese guy ready to make money. On the other hand some t...

huge three story building with plenty of space for everyone

Stay here when in Tobago! Andrew the host is very friendly and accommodating and help you with anything you want to know about the island. The dorm is a good option for budget travellers and it has strong fans so it's cool at night. There is also a nice balcony up there. I would definitely stay here again.

El hostel es una casa grande con mucho espacio, típico de la isla. Sin duda lo mejor es el dueño, Andrew, que es una gran ayuda cuando buscas para comer o para recorrer la isla. Es muy buena onda y te hace la estadía muy placentera. Si vuelvo a Tobago volveré a Candles.

central location, nice facility, really friendly and accommodating host. highly recommend! perfect for solo travelers.
