La Natura Hostel & Pool

Do not stay here - three people I know have had items stolen from this hostel - I had all my jewellery stolen. The room was dirty I had blood on my sheets probably from bed bugs and the hostel were very unhelpful after I told them about my items being stolen.

DO NOT STAY HERE. got into palomino later in the day and found this hostel had the most availability with the best reviews, once we arrived the mosquitoes and flies were probably the worst I have seen, (even after a jungle trek) the staff kicked me off my hammock by the pool at 9. All that aside we also picked up bed bugs from this hostel along with other bug that took a ride on our packs, all night there was a possum on the roof fighting with something. Once that ended dogs and rooster and night clubs are very Loud. So in all, zero sleep, bed bugs, other bugs, mosquitoes and sand flies. Don’t stay here

Hi there, Unfortunatley I had quite a bad experience at this hostel. Around two weeks before coming to this hostel I caught bed bugs from another hostel, I had to wash all my belongings twice as well as being covered in bites. When I got to this hostel I sat on the bed turned the fan on and got loads of dust blown into my face, the room had a very musty smell and there was loads of dried skin and dirt on my bed when I arrived. I had a gut feeling I should check for bed bugs, so I did. I shined my tourch on the matress to find tons of bed bugs, skin particals, eggs and black dots. I then check two other beds in the same dorm and started to find more! I went down stairs told the man at reception and showed him. I explained my previous bed bug situation and said I have to leave..... please could I have the refund and he laughed and said no refund policy, even though the room was very dirty as there was bed bugs. I think I shiould have been entitled to a refund seeming how dirty the room was follwed by showing the bed bugs. No a good experience I had to leave late at night and search for another hostel.
