The hostel itself is nice but the manager is a liar and not professional. I was suspicious that one of the workers there stole money from me and the attitude she gave me was so horrible and groggy. It ended up being true that the guy stole money from me and she didn’t do anything about it, so I would stay away from this hostel its fishy.

On a payé un dortoir de 5 (plus cher) et fini dans un dortoir de 6 : une chambre bricolée avec un lit superposé dans un placard, sans fenêtre, juste des pales métalliques laissant passer bruit, odeurs, poussière et lumière. Impossible de dormir deux nuits d’affilée (bruit jusqu’à 4h, lumière du couloir allumée en continu). Jamais de papier toilette. Personnel moitié sympa, moitié désagréable. À fuir.
We paid a dorm of 5 (more expensive) and ended up in a dorm of 6: a messy bedroom with a bed superimposed in a closet, no window, just metal blades letting noise, odors, dust and light through. impossible to sleep two nights in a row (noise until 4am, hallway light on all the time). never toilet paper. staff half nice, half unpleasant. run away.
We stayed in a private room. It was musty and smelt strongly of cigarettes and mould. All 3 pillows were mouldy and stained. It looked like the sheets hadn't been washed, the pillow covers especially. There was even a dead spider in the pillowcase. Some of the bathrooms weren't clean. The baggage storage service is just throwing your bag in a pile in the corner of reception (not locked, secured or monitored at all times). There were a few lockers but were too tiny to put your bag in.

The hostel is safe and secure. My biggest problem with this hostel was that there was no heating. The place was REALLY REALLY cold. In addition to the blanket provided I had to sleep with my coat on. The WiFi was also spotty going in and out every 10 mins.
Great location but not a very social hostel. Not enough bathrooms for the number of guests and no water filter available which is pretty standard across hostels nowadays. Staff weren’t the most helpful either.
Opzich was het een oké, proper hostel, douche werkte niet zo goed. Voor mij verliest het echter veel punten door hoe we behandeld zijn bij het de taxiservice die het hostel voor ons had georganiseerd. De taxi was veel te laat en het personeel van het hostel bleef tegen ons liegen wanneer de taxi zou aankomen en weigerde om mee te werken aan een andere oplossing. Dit was zeer stresserend.
For me, however, it loses a lot of points due to how we were treated at the taxi service that the hostel had organized for us. the taxi was much late and the staff of the hostel kept lying to us when the taxi would arrive and refused to cooperate on any other solution. it was very stressful.
The receptionist refused my last banknote due to a tiny tear, so I had to pay an extra fee for breakfast using my credit card. The room had almost no storage space and faced the noisy pool. The shared toilet nearby was often unclean. After checkout, I was asked to leave immediately, unlike in other hostels where waiting for a bus was no issue.
El personal de limpieza no era súper amable (ni buenos días ni sonrisa), los recepcionistas eran agradables menos una que vino a las 10.30 en la habitación a gritar que en 30 minutos tenías que irte de la habitación, despertando a los demás que aún estaban durmiendo y para ella no era un problema…
The cleaning staff was not super friendly (no good morning, no smile), the receptionists were nice except for one who came at 10.30 in the room screaming that in 30 minutes you had to leave the room, waking up the others who were still sleeping and for her it was no problem...

I only spent one night here, mostly it was fine but the bed I was in was right next to a broken window which meant constant noise and light coming in all night and all morning, so this was less than ideal and I had a terrible nights sleep as a result

Really nice chilled hostel in Lima, not party vibes, but this is what we wanted after a busy few weeks! Only negative points are that the lockers are on the small side and our room didn’t lock. However the hostel felt safe so we didn’t worry about our belongings. Beds were reasonably comfortable (annoyingly lacked curtains though) and the showers were hot (pretty much all of the time).
one staff member was really rude, the dorm was really Lots because you could hear the doorbell everytime it rang but otherwise very clean and nice place. And they didn't make me pay more when I overslept.
Amazing hostel! The staff really made it. No problems at all, felt super welcome, great place to go if you need to chill out. The staff are also very knowledgeable about the area for good recommendations. Special shout out to Gustavo! He’s a f*cking legend!
Really really loved the location nearby everything and easy to arrive, staff was also great!
L'hostel laisse un peu à désirer, en effet il est peu cher et le petit dej peut être inclus (très bon d'ailleurs). Mais je déconseille fortement aux femmes qui voyagent solo d'y aller, en tout cas seule. J'étais avec une amie et heureusement car nous avons eu des avances de la part d'un des réceptionnistes. Il buvait, fumait énormément et nous à proposer de nous joindre à lui et même d'aller à la salle de sport ensemble. Bref même si c'est non il force, donc si vous y allez faite a...
The hostel leaves a little to be desired, as it is cheap and breakfast can be included (very good for that matter). but I strongly advise women who travel solo not to go there, at least not alone. i was with a friend and luckily because we had advances from one of the receptionists. he drank, smoked a lot and offered to join us and even go to the gym together. in short even if it is not there force, so if you are going to be careful to you
Très bon établissement, bien situé et surtout super personnel, notamment Gustavo qui a été très accueillant et aidant le long du séjour.

overall great hostel - the dorms could use a bit more pricacy. the hostel is not the most social, but I get it depends on the people there. great location and sweet staff! Would recommend. my only complaint would be that there is a guy there (i feel like he could be a regular) who smokes a lot of weed. which I didn't really like.

Lovley place, chilled but still social
Nice hostel and good breakfast. Staff could have been more helpful when we were asking questions and property needed more bathrooms for the number of rooms. The room was also far too hot.
I loved this hostel the vibes were so friendly and chilled - staff were very helpful as I’m vegan and they managed to cater to me for breakfast. The cooking facilities were good and nice hot showers!
I enjoyed my stay in Rainbow hostel that much, that I returned. The hostel has many chill places, has a good vibe and is chill but still really social and it’s easy to meet people. The staff is amazing (especially Gustavo)! I would definitely recommend this hostel :)

Una estancia maravillosa. Gustavo nos ha recomendado sitios para comer, pasear y visitar. Un anfitrión inmejorable. El Hostel cuenta con todo lo necesario, cocina bien equipada, terraza con piscina y ubicación a 2 minutos de la playa. Volveremos seguro! Gracias
Gustavo has recommended places to eat, walk and visit. An unbeatable host. The Hostel has everything you need, well equipped kitchen, terrace with swimming pool and location 2 minutes from the beach. We will be back safe! Thank you
