The service was bad, it was so cold at night, I had 3 blankets on. The receptionist didn't show me around, I had to find everything. For the price, I expected more. I paid much less in places with better everything.
Showers and toilets are not clean and broken or not functioning well . Beds are old . The whole place needs a clean up , with some proper outside Area .
Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, wenn man den Fischerpfad wandern möchte. Das Personal ist sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Die Herberge ist jedoch deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Betten quietschen, die Schränke lassen sich nicht anschließen und die Sanitäranlagen haben schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. In Gemeinschaftszimmetn muss sich 1 Schlüssel geteilt werden, was sehr irritierend ist.
The accommodation is well located if you want to wander the Fischerpfad. The staff is very nice and friendly. However, the hostel has come a lot in the years. The beds are quieter, the lockers can not be connected and the sanitary facilities have seen better times. In the common room one has to share 1 key, which is very irritating.
Rooms very pretty dirty and the was only one key for the room, and the door from inside the room couldn't be open without the key, kitchen was very old and not super clean, but breakfast was surprisingly good
The staff is present and friendly. Unfortunately the beds are rather uncomfortable and make squeak sounds with every single movement. Showers and toilets are clean. Only one toilet has a toilet seat. The kitchen was not very well equipped and even the clean dishes were dirty. The breakfast was a nice buffet (if you are vegan you should consider bringing oat milk for your coffee and cereals).
Bathroom was Horrible ! Water was dropping down from the ceiling! No locks at the toilet or shower doors.

A secure WiFi connection is essential. Furthermore, for security reasons, it is not advisable to leave the key in the box for other occupants.

Basic but nice
A wonderful experience. The girl on check in ( nose stud), gave us the best check in possible, friendly, gave us a free upgrade and allowed us to check in early.
HI Almograve was the perfect location for hikers on Fisherman’s Trail. The private room with bathroom my husband and I booked was spacious, clean, comfy, and quiet. Surprised that we had breakfast included- I wasn’t expecting that given the cost of our room! Super affordable!

Esternamente può sembrare cupo, ma poi entri e trovi personale gentile, una camera abbastanza ampia e servizi puliti. Spazio relax e ottima colazione completano il quadro.
From the outside it may seem gloomy, but then you enter and find kind staff, a fairly spacious room and clean toilets.

It is cheap but maybe not that cheerful. Has everything you need if you are walking the trail and the free breakfast was a bonus! But it’s all a bit tired and need reparations. The beds are shaky and squeaky so wouldn’t recommend if you are a light sleeper. Definitely take earplugs. One key for everyone in the room, so the last one leaves it at reception. Maybe don’t leave valuables in the room - no lockable lockers

Ostello molto spazioso, ma di passaggio. I servizi inclusi sono di ottimo livello, ad eccezione dell'assenza della lavatrice.
The services included are of an excellent level, except for the absence of the washing machine.
Preço qualidade, muito bom. Mas tem pontos que deveriam melhorar, mais variedade no pequeno almoço, melhorar o mobiliário incluindo os colchões, melhorar o pavimento do estacionamento.
Price quality, very good. but there are points that should be improved, but variety in breakfast, improving the furniture including the mattresses, improving the parking floor.
gosto muito desta pousada, localização e staff bastante simpático. so tenho pena do estado de degradação cada vez mais evidentemente do edifício e do parque de estacionamento.
I really like this hostel, location and the staff are quite friendly. so I feel sorry for the state of degradation more and more but obviously the building and the parking lot.

Vorig jaar ben ik hier ook geweest. Het oogde toen erg naargeestig (als een gesloten 'psychiatrische' inrichting voor Oostblok dissidenten) , terwijl de sfeer echt wel goed was. Die sfeer is nog steeds goed o.a. door de vele wandelaars die de Rota Vincentina lopen en hier dan slechts 1 nachtje blijven slapen om de dag erna weer verder te wandelen. Qua prijs-kwaliteit niet te evenaren, vooral als je via Hostelworld boekt: inclusief ontbijt slechts €20,33 ppn op een 5 mans kamer met stapelbedden...
I was here last year too. it looked very disgusting then (as a closed 'psychiatric' inrichting for Oostblok dissidents), while the atmosphere was really good. the atmosphere is still good among other things because of the many hikers who walk the Rota Vincentina and here and only stay 1 night to sleep to walk the day and again. in terms of price-quality not to be missed, especially if you book via Hostelworld: breakfast included only €20.33 ppn on a 5 man room with staple beds
