Layed down in my bed, woke up with a brown stain down my back and all over the bed sheets. apparently the previous occupant spilled coffee on the mattress... not sure why they would rent the room before cleaning it. staff was helpful, moved us to a different room. new bed was broken and sloped to one side. CDMX problem but the toilets only flush every other day. pretty gross. oh and it's in the middle of an active construction site as of March 2026. RMS Condesa was nicer

me robaron en este establecimiento y tienen una cadena de hostales y los empleados de recepción deben quedarse por más de 12h, si ha alguien más le hicieron lo mismo de extravió, contáctame
I was robbed at this establishment and they have a chain of hostels and the receptionist must stay for more than 12h, if anyone else did the same to you, please contact me

DO NOT STAY HERE—SERIOUSLY, AVOID! ⚠️ This 'hostel' is a run-down, foul-smelling pit that will ruin your Mexico City trip. The atmosphere is creepy, cold, and dirtya mix of tobacco and ingrained filth. The kitchen is disgusting, unusable, and lacks basics. Bathrooms are vile: no hot water, constantly flooded, and far from rooms. My tiny room was freezing at night with a paper-thin blanket (no pillowcase). Common areas are dark, depressing, and honestly scary. Trust me, don't book!
STAY AWAY! this is not the hostel it seems to be!!!! Its dirty and absolutely not like the pictures
Not recommend unless you are desperate.
El peor lugar para quedarse, desde que te cobran uso de terminal pero no te permiten pagar en efectivo , el cuarto no tiene llave , el baño ni jabón ni papel, la fotos nada que ver aparte sucio y con CHINCHES !!! La peor experiencia
The worst place to stay, since they charge you for terminal use but don't allow you to pay cash, the room has no key, the bathroom no soap or paper, the photos nothing to see except dirty and with CHINCHES !!!
This was the worst hostel Ive ever seen. It looked like a jail, it was dirty, disgusting, didnt look at ALL like the pictures. We camemin the room and changed inmediatly the hotel. Would never sleep there, had hairs in bed and the bed looked like its gonna break any minute. I can‘t understand a hostel like this exists in that area because the location is beautiful.

absolutely awesome, single room was clean, secure and comfortable. to those complaining I Believe they should have stayed at a Hotel.

They need to clean better between the beds, I even found bottles of alcohol and dead cockroaches lol.
I think this place needs some care. One of the bathrooms didn’t even had a handle for towels, uneven floor. I needed a locker and the room I was offered didn’t have one. No ventilation in a tiny room where they stack 6 beds. The staff was attentive but not really focused on meeting my needs. I was not even offered towels. Location is great, that’s about it.
Amazing location and hard working staff. The building needs a lot of TLC but they seemed to be starting a lot of renovations as I was staying there. For me it was safe and clean enough for the price, given that the location is the best hostel location in the city (in my opinion). You can’t have everything for $10 or $20 a night. The location was excellent and everything else was ok or good.

Pensé que sería un lugar agradable por estar ubicado en la condesa pero No esta muy feo el Hostal y sus instalaciones lo único decente era la cocina.
I thought it would be a nice place to be located in the countess but not too bad the Hostel and its facilities the only decent thing was the kitchen.
Not recommend unless you are desperate.

la ubicación está bien, pero en el lugar se siente muy mala energía, está descuidado y las habitaciones muy incómodas e inseguras, ya que no hay cerrojo y cualquiera puede entrar y salir, los lockers son pequeños y en el baño no hay donde colocar ni la toalla para bañarse, los dos únicos inodoros sin papel de baño
The location is fine, but in the place it feels very bad energy, it is sloppy and the rooms very uncomfortable and unsafe, since there is no lock and anyone can come in and out, the lockers are small and in the bathroom there is no place to put even the towel to bathe, the only two toilets without toilet paper
La habitación no estubo mal, la cama bien, las fotos que suben son engañosas y retocadas para que se vea un lugar mucho más moderno pero cuando llegas al lugar se la ve a toda la propiedad mucho más vieja de lo que venden las fotos. En la cocina compartida que ofrecen y de la cual puedes hacer uso no hay cubiertos (no hay cuchillos, no hay tenedores ni cucharas) Que el dueño me explique cómo hace uno para poder usar la cocina. Creo que no lo va a llevar a la quiebra invertir dinero en eso...
The room was not bad, the bed was fine, the photos that go up are misleading and retouched to make it look like a much more modern place but when you get to the place you see it throughout the property much older than the photos are selling. in the shared kitchen they offer and which you can use there are no cutlery (no knives, no forks or spoons) Let the owner explain to me how one does so that one can use the kitchen. I think it will not bankrupt him to invest money in it.

It was a bit dirty but the locations is pretty nice. For one or two nights it is okay but I switched to a different one
