Even the manager of this hostel told me I should book somewhere else…. she said the constant lack of running water, lack of cleaning in the rooms, and absence of the staff (took up to an hour to open the luggage storage room because security was nowhere to be found!) are due to the owners not caring enough about the property. The stuff was very friendly and I felt save there. But the beds don’t provide any privacy and the common spaces are not really welcoming to hang out there.
Super disappointed, because it looked nice in photos. This hostel is actually inside a hotel, and the staff will treat you accordingly based on if you’re a hotel guest or hostel guest. We had to beg for blankets, and it was pretty cold at the time of the year when we visited. Also, hostel guests do not have pool access, so it’s BS that the advertise a pool. AVOID.

La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable, el desayuno súper básico, dos tostadas con manteca y mermelada, una fruta y café con suplemento. Me tocó una habitación en el segundo piso en la otra punta de los baños y la verdad que de noche levantarme era un suplicio, cruzar toda la galería, y además tampoco llegaba el wifi, y creo que son cosas básicas ambas cosas como para tener en cuenta.
Aunque el lugar es muy amplio y con buenas instalaciones el servicio no es muy bueno( no tenía colchón en mi cama y la solución fue coger de otra cama). Gestionan un hotel a la vez dando prioridad a este y no prestan suficiente atención al Hostel.
La habitación fue bonita, con el espacio suficiente, la cama muy cómoda. El hostal está cerca al Zócalo, muy bien ubicado. Sin embargo, cuando llegué, no me dieron ninguna información sobre el hostal (desayuno, check-out, presentación breve de las instalaciones): me dieron la llave y me mostraron la habitación desde la recepción. I felt like I was staying in a prison
There was no one at the hostel when my friends and I arrived. We were truly shocked. So obviously no atmosphere at all. Super quite and dark. A bit strange. According to the receptionist it was the season but when we changed hostels it was packed so not sure what he meant. The place is beautiful but too dark and quite. Great location. The free breakfast was simple but enough for me. Comfy beds. Wifi was terrible!

Nice space with lovely amenities. would definitely stay in again. Just wish that they used the bar at the reception instead of sending you to the terrace. but really it's a nice hostel

Excelentes instalaciones en una inmejorable ubicación, el costo es alto (pero lo vale) el personal sumamente amable, el desayuno fuer realmente lo único que dejó MUCHO que desear, pero todo lo demás muy bien!
En general esta fantástico el lugar, solo como algunos puntos a mejorar el piso tiene muchas astillas sería bueno encerarlo con resina o algo, el agua de lavamanos no salía de todo lo demás esta excelente. Gracias!

Clean hostel in amazing location (walking distance to all the Centro Historico Spots) but absolutely no atmosphere and barely any privacy in beds. But as it’s not a party hostel one can get a good night’s sleep here. If you are two or more people trying to stay central go for it, no recommendation for solo travellers as you won’t meet new people.
This place deserves a better rating that what it has currently. It’s super safe given its location as part of a high end hotel. It’s super well located, close to the Zocalo, Bellas Artes, the Alameda, Reforma, and tons of public transport stops. It’s very clean. The cons are: (1) it’s very quiet and definitely not a party hostel—hard to meet people, and (2) the beds could use better plugs, their own lights, and a curtain. Other than that it’s good!

Perfect location. The staff is really helpful and understanding. We were there for a layover only and we just wanted to rest. We asked to change dorms because of the noise of some other travelers on the party (which is perfectly understandable) and the staff immediately understand our needs so we've been change dorm immediately. We had a great night of rest.
More hotel vibe than hostel. I would recommend but you don't have much privacy due to how the rooms are constructed.
difficult to find behind a pricey restaurant. very open, you have to go outside for the shower and toilet is covered. Breakfast is two slices of bread with jam and butter plus a pear or apple and coffee. you have to sign for your breakfast. room had little space to hang clothes. locker is too small for backpacks.
It is very masculine, almost military in design in its efficiency and intellectual arrangement and colors. Not one iota of MexKitsch nor room mirrors. The public basins for brushing teeth and shaving are USArmy grade. I will return.
