- מקום מחניק, מיטות קטנות ולא ניתן לישון שם, מקלחות משותפות אומנם אבל אין פרטיות, המקום מתאים לילדים בתיכון שנימצאים בטיול שנתי

+ No me gustó nada. Las habitaciones eran extremadamente pequeñas, los baños estaban muy ocupados y el personal era increíblemente grosero.

+ The location is great in Mount Cook village. The staff were friendly. IF you are a younger person looking for a hostel experience, i'm sure it's great (but expensive!). The facilities other than the rooms themselves are nice, accommodating, inviting. There is a large kitchen where people were cooking communally. Many places to hang out alone or with others. There was plenty of parking, if not in their lot, across the street. They heard our complaint and responded relatively quickly and did refund 2 nights of our 3 night stay.
- They sold us a $400 USD per night room and neglected to tell us that it dd not have a private bathroom. We arrived to find that our room had just barely enough room to walk around the two twin beds (they did go out of their way in advance to make us aware and make sure we accepted that the only room they had remaining had two twins...don't know why they didn't think the bathroom thing would be at least as important). The only temperature control: A freestanding fan whose plug would not reach the wall plug. An open closet, difficult to get to because behind the door and no room to maneuver with the narrow space between bed door and wall... with one high shelf and no hangers. A very steep and narrow staircase to the room that I couldn't get my medium sized suitcase up. We are in our mid-60s and need privacy and access to a bathroom overnight and were not at all comfortable with sharing a single any-gender bathroom and shower with multiple other rooms. The price they charged is outrageous for what they provide. We ended up (so lucky) getting the last room at the Hermitage (the most upscale hotel in the village), with not only its own bathroom, but two queen beds, a lot of space, a private balcony on the 4th floor with an unobstructed view of Mt Cook, an elevator, a great restaurant, other services, for $300 per night and did not stay at Haka at all.

+ Clean, staff were very nice. Kitchen was large with plenty of space and equipment to cook meals. Well maintained property.
- Bed was the most uncomfortable bed that I have ever tried to sleep on. iImpossible to get comfortable. The mattress sits on a piece of thick metal with holes cut out. And does not move. I spent two nights at this hostel, and they were the worst two nights of my life. I will not stay again and do not recommend.. The 3 person room was so small we could not all stand at the same time.

+ Very clean. I was very impressed. The staff were very diligent in cleaning the common areas mid-day while most people were out. The crowd that books there seems to be more respectful (on average) than busy city hostels. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location. Kitchen was large and well equipped.
- Only complaint is how thin the walls are. You can hear everyone walking around and closing doors during the night and early morning. Nothing ear plugs couldn't fix.
+ It was more modern and clean than I expected from a hostel; well maintained and stocked common areas, clean showers. The provided lockers were a good size too. They even have a sauna!
- The sauna had bare wires hanging from a corner (I suppose for alight or alarm that got taken down), that looked unsafe. Staff seemed to be mostly made of working holiday people that translated to their attitudes, not the most helpful but eventfully got things sorted.

The location was perfect for hikes around mt. cook. The common areas were cosy. The sleeping pods were nice. It was a really nice stay but very expensive for a hostel.

+ L'emplacement et les grandes baies vitrées partout dans les salles communes avec une superbe vue. Le staff était très sympa aussi!
- Honnêtement, juste le prix! L'hostel est très bien pour une auberge de jeunesse mais 100e pour un lit en dortoir alors qu'à 10min, vous avez une chambre à l'hermitage (hôtel 5*) pr 200euros... je pensais que l'auberge aurait qqch de spécial mais non, ça ne vaut absolument pas le prix!

+ My second Haka Hostel....And meet my expectations about this hostel as well this one in Queenstown. Amazing view from the room. Room was little bit smaller than 6 bed dorm but i like place in Mt.Cook

- Chambre a côté de la SDB commune malheureusement beaucoup de bruit avec les vas et vient
+ 虽然是公共浴室和厕所，但是设施很干净，有很大的公共厨房，设施非常齐全。
- 周边没有购物的方法，没有超市或者小便利店，需要在进入山谷前，自己准备好所有吃的喝的
