Lovely hostel in a great location and great atmosphere. The food is also really delicious.

Excelente ambiente y servicio, un lugar increíble que es perfecto para descansar, reconectarse y convivir con la naturaleza. Muy recomendado la verdad... La alimentación deliciosa.

*Check your bill against Hostelworld when you pay* -On checkout our room cost was x2 higher than HW. Learnt that they double booked our room, and put us in a more expensive room without us realising. An extra $110k more per night was added + the extra night we booked through them directly was $200k more as it was a ‘weekend’🤯 after alot of back n forth we got the difference for the first two nights back thankfully but it all just felt a bit disappointing + scammy. Nice place but screwed ...

Cannot say enough great things about Ritmo del Rio! Absolutely perfect nature access, language and music activities that bring more than just partying, impeccable staff who always go out of their way to make you feel a part of the space and an owner (Jesse) who is so down to earth and warm hearted. There’s so much passion behind the space here and the vision of connecting people to community, culture, and nature is so loving and pure. This place is a gem!!

Ritmo del Río me brindó una experiencia que nunca había tenido en ningún otro lugar. El personal fue amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar, y se sentía una atmósfera cálida gracias a ellos. El lugar es espectacular, una experiencia inmersiva en el bosque y el río. El hostal cuida de la zona, y mantiene la escencia natural de San Rafael. Amazing place in the mountains of San Rafael, surrounded by beautiful nature, stunning river spots and lots of birds, they created a little paradise. The moment i arrived on that suspension bridge crossing the river, i felt like in a movie. Equipped with plenty of really good guitars, for me as a musician, this was like heaven and Jesse, the owner, is happy to have a jam with you ;) Be aware that there is no kitchen that you can use, but the food they serve is delicious! I had such a good time!

No storage lockers. No hot water. They tell you that you can leave your valuables at the front desk for protection if you like, but when I asked, they said that they do not offer that service. They made me sign a contract saying that I’m responsible for all of my belongings. They told me not to worry because no one had ever stole anything before. So why would they want me to take full accountability in a contract? Shared room.

The staff here are absolutely fantastic and it's a great place to spend a few days recharging from the stress of travelling. The hostel was hosting a language exchange when I was there which was really cool. Food is also good! Only downside was lack of hot water, but not the end of the world given where you are.
