+ The “room” had head height.
- We had booked a private double room with private bathroom. We were shown to a space with 2 beds, no windows or door just netting/mesh and a padlock for a door key . The shower didn’t drain, the bathroom was dirty and, although it was a suitable space - dog slept outside!

- Excursiones más caras que en otros lugares y obligan al pago del 13% pe pagar con tarjeta De las tres noches que estuve la primera se pusieron a hablar en voz alta sobre las 4 de la madrugada o antes, la segunda fue normal y la tercera estuvieron desde la mañana hasta las 21:45 en la cocina hablando en voz muy alta y otro grupo hablando también en voz alta por lo que fue imposible dormir hasta esa hora. Tuve que salir a leer fuera hasta que se fueron (22:00). Como me tomé una lata y comí algo debí de tirar la llave al contenedor de la basura sin darme cuenta y a las 22 horas tuve que llamar para que me trajeran una nueva ( me la trajeron a los pocos minutos y he cobraron 3000 colones). Un lugar donde se hacen excursiones madrugando mucho no creo que sea lógico que se permita hablar en voz tan alta hasta tan tarde. Por otro lado, la habitación individual es muy pequeña y es la única que tiene candado (las demás tienen llaves)
Bed Bugs in room 7! The hostel is unfortunatelly a NoGo! i liked it at the beginning but during the night there is 40°C in the rooms and the worste !!!Bed Bugs!!! i try to contact them via Email to speak about it no response-nothing...i guess they know about the problem but they don't care. Horrible stay don't do it!
the Hostel is ok for a stay when you don't wanna spend much money but it wasn't the greatest. It's SO hot in the dorms even with the fans, and there are SO many moskitos and no moskitos nets! No really "chill/hangout" area besides chairs. WIFI was terrible

- El tracte, el accés de desconfiança, no hi ha lloc per estendre roba, estris cuina deficient, wc bruts i embosats, no té ajuden a gestionar activitats, tot I dir que jo fan, això va fer que perdessin un dia... molta decepció. Poca comunicació. En varen cobrar molt més per una nit més, I no volien fer ho amb la plataforma. Varem esta tres nit. Difícil

- Müsste mal renoviert werden, ist uralt, man konnte sich nicht wohlfühlen.

It’s a fine hostel that has everything you need but don’t expect to make a lot of social contacts here

+ Localisation parfaite Cuisine plutôt bien équipée
- Pas de clim dans les chambres alors les nuits sont très chaudes et le ventilateur au plafond ne suffit pas Pas d'eau chaude dans les douches Il manque de quoi pouvoir étendre ses vêtements mouillés, notamment dans les dortoirs

Sehr tolles Personal, sehr gemütlich, gute Küche. Es kann sein, dass Strom und Wasser mal für ein paar Stunden weg sind. Empfehle es trotzdem sehr !
Wow! This is my favorite hostel I’ve ever stayed at. I had my 6 bed room to myself nearly every night, it has air conditioning, and it’s super close to the beach. The hostel is so clean too! The ladies clean your room every day. Plus they coordinated my ferry ride back to sierpe for me. I miss this place already.
Nice, clean hostel conveniently located in Drake Bay town. The receptionist Alexandra was very friendly! The room and kitchen were clean. However, the dorm I stayed in (female) was unbearably hot. It was really hard to sleep. There was just one tiny ceiling fan. I had to change the room after one night. Apparently some of the mixed dorms have A/C - this is not visible in the room description on hostelworld.
+ Super friendly staff, AC in one of the dorms, huge community kitchen, easy to book excursions through the hostel.
- The office doesn't open until 11 am.
+ Ale es genial, una chica súper amable, la cocina es espaciosa y suele estar bastante limpia. El espacio común también es cómodo aunque igual falta alguna hamaca más. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias con ducha para cada habitación compartida y limpiaban todos los días.Hay opción a toallas con un depósito de 5$ que te devuelven al salir lo q estás muy bien.Una experiencia genial! Repetiría sin duda :)
The hostel has a great location, very close to the beach, where all the tours start and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. There is a common area, where you can hang out, the hammocks are a lot in the sun and kind of woren out though. There are a lot of Mosquitoes in Drake Bay, even in dry season, we had a lot in our room, a mosquito net would have been nice. They offer a kitchen with basic equipment that can be used. Rooms are made daily with a fresh towel every day :)
+ Goede sfeer, heel gezellig en fijn dat je gebruik kon maken van de algemene keuken. Vriendelijk personeel en een goede, centrale locatie (naar het strand en restaurantjes er omheen).
- We hadden de budget 3-persoonskamer en dat was erg benauwd (die zat ergens in een hoekje van de accommodatie). Hoewel er een ventilator aanwezig was kon het er maar niet afkoelen. Best nog wel luidruchtig verkeer wat er langs kwam.
Super clean, great kitchen, staff were so friendly and pick you up from the boat even! We had a room with no AC but with a fan and it was nice!
+ New place. Comfy beds good kitchen and English spoken. Clean bathroom central location for food . Not beach front but a short walk to beach down steep hill.
- Nothing. But expensive?? The sign outside is small and different titles above entrance.

- Prévoir du cash suffisant un amont, parfois il y a des coupures d'électricité dans la région et on ne peut pas payer en carte. Rien de grave, cela fait du voyage mais c'est bon à savoir 😉

- Onze kamer (private room) had geen airco, alleen een waaier. De gedeelde kamers wel. Dat was soms wel fijn geweest.
+ The most amazing thing was that the girl at reception came to the beach with an umbrella and picked me up at the boat. The place is about 10 min up the hill. There is a great kitchen sufficiently equipped. I had a single room which was functional yet clearly on the small side. I also booked my tour to the Corcovado park with the reception and everything worked out great.
Très bon rapport qualité-prix, près de tout. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et l'organisation des activités se fait bien avec eux.
+ The woman at reception is incredibly sweet and helpful. She booked a boat back for me and kept my bag overnight in the office. She has a future in a 4 star hostel facility :-).
- The kitchen and open dining area could do with a couple of fans. More fans in dorms.
+ L’accueil est super, souriante, des règles bien expliquées. Merci pour le service de réserver un taxi pour nous et pour nos bagages. C’est très propre. La chambre est spacieuse, très propre et confortable. Très bien situé. Excellent rapport qualité / prix
