Super cozy hostel! The owner is very sweet and helped organise a get together in the evening for everyone staying there
Incredible hostel, one of my favorites out of hundreds!
One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. I felt very cozy and friendly. They have two cats and two bunnies that are around the courtyard. The rooms are really clean and very comfortable. The beds even have heating pads if you come in the winter. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. At night many of us would hang out at the reception and chat. I also used the facilities to do yoga and it was very spacious.
Had a lovely stay here. I was solo and was originally staying for 2 nights but ended up extending for an extra night. Great value, room had a nice bed with heated blanket so I slept great. Short was hot and everything was nice for a budget place, nothing extravagant. Friendly staff too with decent enough English spoken. While here we did the 11k trail trek via the cable car and did lots of wondering round the old town which is 5-10 mins walk from the hostel.
This should have more reviews as it is an awesome hostel directly next to the old town. Some rooms are very cutely designed. There is a very comfy common area with a hammock and mich more. The owner is extremely helpful. You can rent affordable electric scooters next door (no license needed). It takes a while to take the bus (4) to Dali Station or to Lijiang as traffic is really bad some times.
I had a great stay at this hostel. It’s only a short walk to the old town. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, helping me to plan the Tiger Leaping Gorge hike and giving me ideas on where to visit around Dali. The room was very spacious, and the bed super comfortable. I think I had my best nights sleep in China here!
Lily International Youth Hostel is a lovely place. Only a short walk away from the historic center but way calmer and a great place to relax from the crowded tourist spots. The owner family is nice and the staff is super helpful. Alex even drove me to the city center to take care of immigration office paperwork. I am very grateful for that help. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this place
One of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in China! The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and big beds - everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful! The location is perfect for visiting the old city which is just across the road, and only a short drive to Cangshan mountain or Chongsheng Temple. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dali!
La posizione è più che perfetta. Casa giardino tipici Cinesi , proprietario moooolto disponibile . Stando là, dormendo per 3 notti ho avuto la posizione di visitare Old Town prima che arrivassero le orde dei turisti by bus . Di vedere sentire la vera Dali . Con i locali bambini che vanno a scuola. E tutto 5 min a piedi da hostel . Pure le 3 pagode , a piedi . Proprietario mi ha organizzato sharing car per andare a Shaxi 🙏 una mano dal ciel Grazie
The location is more than perfect. typical chinese garden house , owner moooolto available . standing there, sleeping for 3 nights i had the position to visit the old town before the tourists arrived by bus . di vedere sentire la vera Dali . with the local children who go to school . and everything 5 min walk from the hostel . pure the 3 pagodas , on foot . the owner has arranged for me to share car to go to shaxi 🙏 a hand from heaven Thank you
la struttura è particolare, ha una palestra in cui si dorme ma i letti sono molto comodi, ottimo per ping pong e attività. il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, ci hanno anche aiutato a trovare attività da fare nella città. siamo stati bene
the facility is particular, it has a gym where you sleep but the beds are very comfortable, great for ping pong and activity. the staff is very kind and helpful, they also helped us find activities to do in the city. we were fine

This hostel is very cute and well located. The terrace has an amazing view. I enjoyed my time spent there. They helped me with my visit and responded quickly to my specific demands. I would definitly recommend.
Beautiful hotel with very welcoming staff and location close to old Dali. I highly recommend this hotel! The lady who runs the hotel did not hesitate to help me when I arrived and left the city. Thank you for this stay!
