- The room smelt of mold, like it hadn't been open for days, maybe weeks. It was right next to the entrance. For the price they wanted, it was too much. I got my money back right away and left, I wasn't even going to attempt to stay there.

Me llego el correo de confirmación 2.llame más de 5 veces para confirmar pero nunca contestaron , escribí al WhatsApp y tampoco 3 al llegar al lugar me dicen que me llamaron y jamas eso paso y me dicen que si tenían mi habitación y la alquilaron en menos de una hora,mala experiencia porque después de eso casi no encuentro donde hospedarme
When I showed up they had double booked my reservation and told me I had no place to stay despite my private room booking. After much discussion we did find a bed in a dorm to sleep in but it was disgusting to say the least. No bed sheets provided, no wifi the entire stay, and the water went out for a while. Pretty loud and dirty, etc. They forced me to pay full price and the guy at the counter was rather rude. I would highly recommend not staying here.
Party hostel and the rooms are not insulated for noise so it's hard to sleep with the noise. I booked a room for four for four nights and the owners decided to let me leave the room early on the grounds that I didn't book an extra night, which is not true, it's just better to put four people in the same room together. Everything was conducted in a disrespectful manner and I had to move to a room of six people because of their mistake. In addition, there are lots of biting insects in the seating.
Great place tokickback with all the travelers in the area. The hostel has a great vibe every night, and the entire town flocks there to take part. However, Sleeping and living in the hostel is a different story! Showers and bathrooms are outdoors, in little shacks. Water is cold ! And the bedrooms are a different story. No AC, sand everywhere (and all the time). Not too far from camping experience, just 3x the price. I recommend : sleep somewhere else, and just go there to hangout and party!
The hostel messed up our reservation twice, and they made US pay more both times because of it. We were really shocked by how rudely and unfairly they acted. Apparently this happens a lot. It’s a shame that a cool hostel is run so badly…

We've booked hidden hostel for one night. When we arrived they couldn't find our booking and we were asked to show pictures of the room that we reserved. Eventually they gave us a room and it wasn't clean at all. Under the bed were lighters, empty bottles of water, on the floor were black seeds, looked like it was coming from a gap in the roof. Behind the door of the bathroom was a flyer and there were stains on the sheets.
It seems like the hostel was a nice place a few years ago, but the state it is now can only be described as very neglected. The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms were very dirty as well. No social atmosphere at all, rude staff. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.
Very little atmosphere here. It seemed there were lots of volunteers that were clicky in their own group. We were above the kitchen so could hear everybody chatting until late which meant we didn’t get a good sleep here. Bed is comfortable. Cold shower then one hot shower. Not the hostels fault, but when the electricity went there wasn’t even any water to wash hands! And when it came back on the water needed a lot of time to heat back up. Was the whole of Ecuador, not just here.

L’auberge annonce un espace de coworking, mais c’est simplement une table au milieu des autres aires communes. Ce n’est vraiment pas un endroit adapté pour travailler. L’auberge annonce aussi du stationnement, mais en réalité il s’agit juste de laisser l’auto à l’extérieur de l’auberge. Il n’y a donc pas de véritable stationnement.
The hostel advertises a coworking space, but it is simply a table in the middle of other common areas. it really is not a suitable place to work. the hostel also advertises parking, but in reality it is just about leaving the car outside the hostel. so there is no real parking.

Séjour absolument incroyable ! L’hôtel est situé à 5 min de a plage, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement du sable et de la mer. Le patron est vraiment extraordinaire et aux petits soins. The hotel is located 5 minutes from a beach, which allows you to fully enjoy the sand and the sea. The host is really extraordinary and attentive. The hotel is very spacious, with a friendly atmosphere where you feel right at home. The huge tropical garden invites you to relax, with hammocks perfect for relaxing. This is the ideal place to make new acquaintances while enjoying the beach and the tranquility. A real corner of paradise!!
+ Lugar limpio y tranquilo, el staff muy amigable y atento. Está cerca a la playa y al centro del pueblo en un barrio tranquilo lo que lo hace perfecto. Cerca hay restaurantes y un supermercado. El lugar tiene mucha naturaleza.

+ El jardín lleno de plantas
- Los colchones no son confortables para nada, dormimos terribles. El hecho de que había reservado un bungalow con "living room and separate bedroom" y que tuvimos un cuarto normal, una sola pieza y no era lo que estaba descrito. Muchos mosquitos y cucarachas y un fuerte mal olor. Que me reclamaron para la 3ra persona aunque ya había avisado y pagado el extra.
Amazing out door amenities. Table tennis, pool, jenga, board games, lots of hammocks and lounge chairs. Was quiet season when we visited but this hostel has lots of social potential
