Good hostel. Stayed one night in a private, could do with some AC

Really loved this place, the people (vica!) were soo nice and welcoming. Only thing that needs a little improvement in my eyes is the fan situation in the dorms (very loud)

Overall the atmosphere was a bit strange. The staff and volunteers were cliquey and not very welcoming. The common area was quite small and they basically were always using it so there was no space for guests. Staff also didn’t seem to know what was going on, if they were even at the desk. Often the water would be finished and there wouldn’t be any urgency to get it refilled (or do anything) This is excluding the amazing volunteer Rebecca who was lovely and seemed to almost be running the pl...

Very relaxing hostel

I never usually leave reviews but this hostel really deserves praise. Quite possibly one of my favourite hostels ever. The hostel itself is so affordable and in a great location, facilities are super clean, the kitchen is well stocked and the wifi is reliable. The staff are friendly and helpful when you have questions about where things are/what to do in Las Peñitas. I extended my stay 3 times, it’s a very easy place to get stuck ☺️☺️

We had an amazing stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was great, and the owners made us feel truly special and well taken care of. Everything was perfect, and we always felt looked after. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

Lorenzo y Duarte son unos anfitriones estupendos!! El Hostel está súper cuidado, cocina bien equipada, los baños siempre limpios, camas cómodas y con mosquitera y ventilador para cada uno. El descanso está garantizado al estar en una callecita tranquila pero puedes ir caminando a la playa y los principales lugares en pocos minutos. Extendí mi estancia y me hubiera quedado más tiempo sin duda. Volveré!!!!

The owners are two very friendly cousins, who created a very cool place. The rooms and the common areas are beautifully designed and built all from wood. It was also very clean. We felt very comfortable here.

The team is very cool and helpful, the chillarea is nice, the bed is comfortable and the vibe is chill!

Das Beste hostel auf meiner travel reise. Der vibe ist top die owner sind super hilfsbereit. Man konnte den ganzen tag dort relaxen. Das einzige negative war das es heiss war und die Ventilatoren sehr laut. Es war sehr sauber. Man bekam für alles Infos und konnte direkt vor Ort surf lesson buchen .

Probably the coziest place I’ve stay in Nicaragua. Had a private room and for the quality price, really worth it. Only issue is the fan is a bit loud, but you can only use the one on a tripod and it’s fine. The kitchen is clean and there’s space for your groceries, nice chilling area and we are really close to the beach. Also, the owner gave probably the best help and tips I’ve ever received in my entire trip for the town. Ask anything, they have the answer.

Super hostel qui donne un peu l’impression de vivre dans un bateau de pirate. La cuisine était sûrement une des mieux équipé que j’ai vu au cours de mon voyage. Calme et silencieux le soir. Seul point négatif ; les matelas (des dortoirs en tout cas) ne sont pas hyper confortable.

Estuve en el dormitorio femenino. La cama estaba muy comoda y tenia una red contra las mosquitos. Las duchas tenian una buena presión el Auqa. Puedes pedir desayuno por la mañana y habia café gratis. La cocina esta bien equipada.

casa bambucha is one of the best hostels we’ve stayed at! the place looks and feels great; the staff, volunteers and owners are all really, really friendly; and the hostel is just a few steps from the beach. we had originally booked a single night but extended our stay twice because we liked it so much!

Amazing little hostel within Las Peñitas. It’s just off of the main road and a very short walk to the beach / activities but allows for a quite deep sleep without buses and traffic waking you up. The staff were amazing and the owners incredibly nice. I highly recommend staying here

Super hostel, les proprio sont adorables, lieu tranquille et super mignon. Je recommande!

Hostel avec beaucoup de charme tout en bois. L’endroit est propre, familial et chaleureux. L’hôte est vraiment très accueillant et sympa. Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable à Las Peñitas :)

The best hostel in Nicaragua.

Really enjoyed our stay. Best hostel I’ve stayed in so far on my trip. Fantastic facilities, very homely feel and helpful staff. Newly built and its been designed beautifully. Easy to socialise.

Das Hostel war sehr nett und vor allem hatte es ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Küche war leider konstant unordentlich, weil viele ungeputzte Töpfe, Pfannen etc. herumstanden und dies dazu führt, dass man selbst die Töpfe anderer sauber machen musste, bevor man selber kochen konnte…
