- El personal muy poco amable tanto en la recepción como en salida y además las habitaciones están protegidas con cristal que no es muro y todo el frío para de la calle a dentro de la habitación.

+ Area is great
- The service both Bookiing and the Q4 Hotel provided was upsetting and service needs to be worked on especially since they both cater towards customers in tourism. Google review summary: The stay this past week was unpleasant because of the service the 3rd party site Booking and the front desk at Q4 Hostel didnt do their job by confirming my reservation. I definitely checked in during my 1st night, but by the next day the hostel completely threw all my stuff in a laundry bag and held it in storage. Imagine yourself coming in to your unit and felt completely evicted from your own room?!! Apparently one of the front desk agents didnt press the confirm button on their end, which then led to booking.com sending me an email about deducting an extra fee for "no show?!!" Guys, if you plan on booking through a 3rd party site (ie; expedia, agoda,booking.com) make sure the front desk at any overnight stay you go to (hotels,hostels,etc) press that CONFIRM button cuz if not your items will be thrown out. AND make sure the 3rd party site like BOOKING.com. checks up on the Hotel for any reasons a customer was marked as a "NO SHOW" at unit before making confirmation from their end and sending out an email about a "no show" fee and getting their items thrown out.

- Quartos pequenos com muito ruído vindo do exterior. Até que oferecerem tampões assim que chega no hostel. Ar condicionado localizado mesmo em cima do beliche na cama de cima, onde fiquei. Péssimo. Taxa extra paga ao chegar e cópia do cartão de crédito.

I love staying here. All the staff were very sweet and kind except for one who kept asking me what room number I’m in. But he wasent asking that to everyone else. I didn’t like that. Ask front desk you should know who is staying at the accommodations or get a debriefing before you start working. No other staff member asked me that. And it seemed like he was targeting or singling me out. I stay here regularly when I come to visit nyc so that wasn’t funny cute, nice or sweet. Funny how one b...
It's a great location near subway stations. Quick and easy to get to Midtown Manhattan. We had a private room/private bath. Small room but adequate. Across the street from an elevated train so noisy, including through the night but we masked it with wave sounds on a phone. Economical to use the basement community room to store and prepare breakfast. The water is hard and sometimes the shower water could have been hotter. Bed seemed hard but we slept well. For NYC, a great value

One front desk staffer was not very friendly. I asked him for a different color towel. He said "It's just a towel" and would let me have it. There's a train station 1 block away, which can be a good and a bad thing. Good that the train is located nearby, bad with the noise from the train. It's NYC, eventually will get used to the noise. Plenty of food options including Dunkin Donuts, Panda, Checkers, a food hall, & bodegas.

+ Muy bien la ubicación el metro te lleva a donde quieras ! En verdad una verdadera joya en cuanto ubicación y solo caminas 5 min o menos al metro, tienda de comida a un lado y que es seguro el lugar
- Nos dieron un cuarto que literal estaba a lado de las vías del metro ,mucho ruido pero pues era entendible y te daban unos tapones muy cómodos para los oídos , pequeño el baño apenas y cabe una persona pero es entendible todo en NY allá es pequeño ,los trabajadores excepcionales muy serviciales !!!

+ the hostel has all you need for your stay. Good bed, nice shower in the room, there's a kitchen down stairs with all facilities to prepare the meal (if you like to cook), a supermarket next to the building, some restaurants around, it is close to 2 metro stations.
- Rooms upstairs there is no elevator - for you know, and there is noice from metro passing during night, but that does not bother at all (never bothered me).
+ Very accessible to the subway. Close to the itinerary that i have set. Especially to the time square.
- Noise outside. Very quaint. Very new yorky. Sirens, and the sound of train arriving and leaving. Experience was an ok overall. Kinda expected for the money that i paid.

+ They have a large cozy kitchen/sitting area. The room is spacious enough and it’s very easy to reach from downtown. Staff is very helpful.
- The blankets are very thin and not very warm, a bit inconvenient during the winter. I asked for extra but I was still cold even with two. The shower head could be changed.
Q4 is a sleeper hit hostel ; close to the city, in Long Island city near places to eat and grocery stores. The beds and pillows are new. The hostel felt mysteriously empty on my visit and I slept great here. Cons - train at night (don’t bother me) no elevator - 3 floor possible walk up If you don’t need social vibes this. Is your place.
