Hostel Barra

Infelizmente la experiencia allí fue de terror. Fui robada 3 veces en poco más de 24 horas (de la heladera). Hice los reclamos correspondientes. Un voluntario me tranquilizó diciéndome que tenían cámaras de seguridad y que lo iban a resolver. No hubo respuesta. Cuando decidí irme por esta causa me hicieron la vida imposible para devolverme 4 de 6 noches. La dueña, una desquiciada. Location is great and the room was pretty clean. The staff didn't seem too concerned with people's comfort - it took forever to confirm that I could check in late night. I didn't feel like the place was particularly friendly, but I should caveat I don't speak the language The kitchen was pretty disgusting and taken up mostly by staff, mostly. They shouldn't advertise A/C - they only allow it for a few hours at night. Same price as other hostels and less service? Doesn't make sense to me.

Very nice staff. Convenient location for Carnaval. What I mainly didn't like is that we weren't able to lock or fully close our room, so it didn't feel secure. The lockers were really too small and didn't open. My stair was broken (to get to the top bed) Cleaners go in the room before check out time, so it delayed and complicated check out. Was a mess. Kitchen is miniscule and eating tables is outside, so if it rained or is raining forget it.

Gostei do meu quarto e da limpeza do quarto. Localização muito boa e o hostel tem espaços comuns bons. Infelizmente não tem clima de hostel e os funcionários são pouco receptivos (não é uma opinião isolada minha, todos os hospedes que socializei concordaram comigo). E algo que eu detestei foi a música alta por parte do hostel logo cedo pela manhã. Não voltaria, infelizmente.

Os volontarios son simpatico. Hostel limpo. Mas Durante carnaval cheiro de chichi na rua, nao e um lugar social pra conocer pessoa. Nao tem vibe de hostel mas de b&b. O cachorro da dona ladra muito cedo.

Volontaire très gentil et font bien leur boulot . La réception vous demande 20 real pour laisser vos affaires après midi , je n’ai jamais vu ça en 4 ans de voyages . Pas trop d’ambiance le soir , je ne la recommande pas .

we didn’t get the room we booked. the location was great, the volunteer who worked there was really nice and helpful. wish her all the best! we used their service of washing clothes, but got them back after two days all wet and dirty, they didn’t charge us though, but it was quite an inconvenience for us. we had to wash the floor after checking out without any previous notice. no towels.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hostel. Il est idéalement placé, très propre et décoré avec goût. Il contient également tout le matériel nécessaire. Il y a beaucoup de volontaires dans le personnel, et ils sont loin d’être tous aimables.. nous nous sommes senti légèrement isolés, heureusement que Michel (un volontaire) et son amie étaient là pour nous accueillir ! Je recommande tout de même le lieu

Boa localização, pessoal simpático, a equipe faz a higienização do quarto todos os dias, além de arrumar as camas dos hóspedes, o que achei incrível. Além disso, são bem flexíveis.

Sempre que venho a Salvador fico no hostel Barra e é uma ótima experiência. Sou muito bem recebida, a localização é muito boa e o ambiente também. Ótima relação qualidade/ preço.

Great location really close to the beach. Friendly, welcoming staff. Bedroom and facilities were clean but like a lot of hostels in Brazil it seems, they don’t like providing soap for washing hands in the bedroom en-suites.

Great place to stay if you’re on a budget, can’t beat the location

Hostel Barra é maravilhoso ganhei uma segunda casa em Salvador, funcionários e voluntários viraram amigos que quero levar pra sempre comigo. Lá fiz conexões que vou levar pro resto da minha vida ❤️

They offer a generous buffet breakfast for about three US dollars. The staff is super friendly and happy to help. It’s a few minutes. Walk to a perfect sunset viewing spot.

Really nice kitchen and lots of places both inside and outside to sit and eat and chat with fellow travelers. Very close to the beach and only a fifteen minutes walk away from Porto da Barra Beach. Friendly staff and very clean place.

adorei me hospedar no hostel barra. limpeza muito boa, super me localizado e os meninos que trabalham lá são uns fofos super alto astral. O café da manhã também é uma delícia, sempre com bolo quentinho que os meninos preparam na hora.

Amei, fiquei somente uma noite Hostel Barra, porque estava só de passagem para ir para outra cidade, ótima localização, cama muito confortável, amei tudo, Obrigada, em breve voltarei para passa mais dias.
