RAD Hostel

+ I didn't like anything about this place. It was a disaster 🥲 My husband and our three kids ran out of the hotel at night because we found bed bug crowding all over the bed. We slept in our car with three kids.

- This place is a big disaster. It smells of weed, and the location says it all. Bed bugs were the center of attraction their bed. After running out of the hotel in the middle of the night and sleeping in our car, we confronted the manager the next day about the incident, and she tried so hard to defend themselves and place the blame on us. Instead of enjoying our trip, we spent most of our time Rewashing all our clothes. Instead of us enjoying our vacation.

+ I liked the bus stop near by. Seems like a safe place where people won't tell you what you can't do

- It's been over a month since I booked a 2 night stay and i never received my deposit

- The staff stealing my food out.of the refrigerator in the area that the site manager assigned. I went and spoke with manager and ask can you ask your staff where they place my food then manager stated they throw food out that is left and unmarked. I had items that was brand new not open that was in a private bag I purchase when getting food.. other items that had to be cooked on stove that was loose in refrigerator was not touch only the snack. Once I sent message to site to get booking.com involved the manager came out very aggressive and said your bread is back in area with other items. I went back and bread was back but not other items. ATTN: The staff there all are work for stay employees meaning they work for shelter people from all over. My point is how can you be train to trash items then when I ask about them they return. I did not give anyone permission to touch my things only thing return was bread.

+ - breakfast - possibly to cook in the kitchen

- - everything was terribly filthy. After the shower in the hub I even felt more dirtier than before. - the towels and bed sheets were used! Found multiple hairs on it! - we were literally freezing the whole night. 68 F without any heating possibilities and only a really thin blanket as covers. - no curtains. It was bright in the room whole night (photo attached). Couldn’t sleep at all (also because it was soooo cold) - noisy - the whole place smells very uncomfortable - parking in front of the room not possible - room was really small. Our luggage barely fitted in.

- 冷氣無法充滿整間房間,使得我與朋友們在體感不舒適的情況下入睡. 有向服務人員反應,服務人員快速的提供兩台電風扇,但是還是無法解決房間過熱的情況. 冷氣的風只停留在廁所門前, 我也不知道到底哪裡出了差錯???

+ Charming wall paintings in the rooms, friendly atmosphere

- Expensive for what it offers. We paid 110 USD for a family of five, and we also had to pay an additional 20 USD for late check in (we arrived at 21:15). The breakfast options were minimal and the breakfast area did not seem very clean, so we ended up having breakfast in a restaurant. Together with what we had to pay for breakfast, we could have booked a Hilton or Holiday Inn hotel with breakfast included for the same price :(

- Beside the kind staff, which I really appreciated, the place is a wreck. "Thanks" for the reminder that HI (Hostel International) hosted accommodation are a disaster. The rooms a filthy, unknown if clean, all carpet where you certainly don't want to walk without shoes. The blanket was a curtain, too thin to get warm at night (May). Following the room was too cold with no option to change the temperature. The shower provided just a bit of a dripping water, basically impossible to use. Toilet didn't flush properly. I don't blame the staff, but whoever owns this hole should urgently think about if hospitality is the right business.

+ I have stayed here several times in the past. For Colorado Springs, this is the only place I will stay. I always get a good night sleep. Super clean!

- There was nothing not to like. RAD will always be a favorite.

+ This place is great and very comfortable. It gives that next door neighbor feeling from my childhood. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, staff and the events. I will likely visit again.

- I did not like the weather as much because it prevented some of the events. And when it is below freezing, you almost want to sleep in the bathroom shower!

- There was no air in the room I stayed in so it was kind of hot. Loved my roommate and that atmosphere though!

- Chambre la plus basique de notre séjour. Bord de voie rapide. C’est une auberge de jeunesse qui conviendra sans doute aux authentiques routards.
