Urban Glamping Budget Tented Village

- I had to book another place as i was at the clinic phoned them and told them i was stuck I can’t make it at 8 . They said if im stuck im stuck they showed no sympathy, they said they will refund me my money which they didn’t i then booked at a nice and welcoming Elephant lake, i will still proceed and report this

+ Beautiful setting with a nice lovely soft clean beds, beautiful garden and two pools, and breakfast at a nearby café was tasty.

- Unfortunately, we cannot recommend staying here: the tents had strong musty smells and visible black mold, which is a serious health concern. Earplugs are provided but our tents were right next to the kitchen and another tent, so noise was unavoidable. Staff/owner were not around when neighbors made a lot of noise after 10. Overall, despite the location and facilities, the mold made our stay very uncomfortable.

- Unfortunately the Manager of this property was terrible! Treated us like school kids by her telling us when to sit outside, when to go to bed, what not to do and constantly complaining about noise levels, even if its 5pm and you’re talking with your family in hushed tones…it was constant and very irritating. She also felt she had the right to just walk into your booked private space (tent)and tell you all about her problems and gossiped and complained about other guests constantly, so not much relaxing done here. Also witnessed first-hand how a group of 4 booked a luxury tent and was moved halfway into terrible staff quarters with no doors to the bathroom (at the same cost!) because she overbooked. On our check out day, she walked into our tent while I was removing my bags way before check-out to tell us we have to leave now and not at check-out because “I have more important guests arriving than you” I was shocked at her attitude towards her guests and will never book here again.

+ Beautiful setting. The bed was very comfortable and the cleaning staff were lovely.

- The strict rule of silence from 10pm was unacceptable, we were in the middle of dinner and we were basically told to go to bed. We were not unruly, just in the middle of conversation and eating dinner. The manager was rude to our party and we were very unsatisfied with the whole experience. Out of the four nights, we only spent one night at the accommodation because we felt so unwelcome. It is a long weekend and shouldn't be told to be in bed at 10pm by the manager. The tents are positioned on top of one another with zero privacy. You can literally hear the conversation of the guests in the adjacent living quarters. The tents are not maintained, you cannot open and close the zips and the locking mechanism is awful, our tent was broken into whilst locked (allegedly by monkeys).

- 2x kakkerlak op badkamer. Tent op slot doen was wat slechter te doen omdat de ritsen wat open bleven staan

- Es war regelmäßig (insg. Ca 10h) load shedding, da hat dann das Wasser auch nicht funktioniert. Der Generator war außerdem defekt. Dies hat zu einem dunklen und anstrengenden Aufenthalt geführt.

+ The glamping suites are extremely clean and comfortable, the place is beautifully landscaped and it feels like being in the jungle. The pool and amenities are top notch. The location is perfect, right in the Main Street. Breakfast is at a coffee shop Kauai which serves delicious healthy food.

+ Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in St. Lucia, Restaurants und ein Spar sind fußläufig erreichbar. Die Zelte befinden sich in einem wunderschön angelegten, urwaldähnlichen Garten. Vor dem Zelt hat man eine Terrasse mit gemütlichen Lounge Möbeln. Auch der Gemeinschaftsbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet. Es gibt eine große Küche, Sitzecken und einem Poolbereich. Alles wird rund um die Uhr gepflegt.

- La dame a l accueil n’est pas très aimable

+ Eine besondere Unterkunft! Liegt mitten im Ort, alles ist sehr gut erreichen. Freundlicher Empfang. Die Zelte sehr sauber! Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt.

- Die Einrichtung der Zelte ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber irgendwie hatte es Charme. Für uns war es gut!
