Albergue Revolutum Hostel

oh snap. we came to get a bed to get some rest. at 11 we were wondering when the loud music will stop. the whole room was vibrating. at 12 we got angry, at 1 we complained, and 2 it stopped, cleanup was finished at 4. at 8.30 music was turned on again. the main objective of a hostel is to provide accomodation so your guests can get some sleep. in this Department unfortunately 0/10. oh and we found a dead bed bug in the morning snuggled between us, was not a surprise given the less than perfect sanitary conditions. party folks who need to pass out somewhere: look no further. normal travellers who want to apreciate salamanca and all its beauties and want to get a night of sleep: run away.

So I give them this rating because I couldnt sleep because something was bitting me all night. I don't know if they've got a bed bug problem or bug problems in general but I woke up with welts all over my body especially the side I sleep on. The welts were really red and itchy for days. I showed a person while they were still fresh and I was told it was probably fleas because in some areas the bites are in a line. It took almost 2 weeks for them to go away and the one on my leg and back left scars. Also the reception guy didn't explain anything and the room light, AC, outlet to charge cellphone require you to leave your key card inserted in the door and ive never stayed in a room like that so I didn't know and it was super hot at night until someone put the card in.
