had bedbugs and manager was rude when we asked for a refund (suggested that we had brought the bedbugs)[we absolutely did not]. some staff were really sweet (shout out girl with the black hair and tattoos). facilities and location were alright.

The location is great. It is very easy to walk to any of the main sightseeing locations and very close to the metro. However, when we stayed there were bedbugs in our room. Once we brought this to the attention of the staff we were switched to a different room and all our laundry was done free of charge. I understand that bedbugs can happen anywhere, but it made me a little less confident in the general cleanliness of the hostel. The staff are all really friendly and helpful though!

I only write positive reviews but this time I am super disappointed and upset. I got bed bug bites from this hostel. I've never experienced this before. Also the toilet and shower were very dirty. Definitely don't recommended staying here.

My stay at this hostel was disappointing due to bedbugs and a rude staff member. In the morning, a kind female staff member offered free laundry, arranged a room change, and promised me a lower bunk. That evening, a male staff member with shoulder-length curly hair and glasses rudely refused, claiming lower bunks were full. Despite a female colleague’s explanation, he remained hostile. All the staff were friendly except him. His attitude ruined my experience and felt discriminatory. 臭虫和仇女男员工！快跑

Unfortunately, there were bedbugs in our room, and the bathroom was always flooded… Sweet staff and close to metro.

This place is certainly functional, clean, hot showers, kitchen, essentially all you need. And no bed bugs. Thank you. Its efficient. But it is like a warehouse and lacks atmosphere. No interaction of staff with guests. Staff is nice however. If there were other options, i think id avoid it as a solo traveler. Its so much about the space. The dorm room i had was like a spice cabinet, very small. The beds have curtains. Good privacy.

Bed bugs! I saw the reviews mentioning them but I didn’t listen. I learned my lesson the hard way. The hostel has responded to these reviews saying the problem has been dealt with, but… I woke up covered in bites… and I think they may have followed me… A comfortable hostel and mostly clean but it’s really not worth the stress of bed bugs and it’s disappointing to see that the problem has not yet been taken care of.

The only thing we liked about our stay was the location, walkable/close to transit. We rated so low due to the cleanliness of the hostel itself. First, not sure the sheets were actually changed. Mine had black long hair everywhere…I’m blonde. Second, our friend staying in another had bedbugs. BEDBUGS. come to find out they didn’t mention that to the others staying in the room, yes my friend got to change rooms but the others weren’t told why they needed to deep clean the room. That’s nasty.

I got at least 30-40 bed bug bites at this location. When confronted hostel staff about this, they apparently already knew about the issue and were trying to hide it from us. They didn’t offer to clean anything or even move rooms, and even asked us to not tell other people in the room about the issue.

They have bedbugs here. Enough said. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. While we did get a refund the employees were very nonchalant about it and it seemed like they knew it was an issue and didn’t want to address it.

BED BUGS!!!! Be careful if you come to this hostel as they always have bed bugs problems. And they know and they don't even care. Look for more reviews on Google or other platforms. It's not a new thing and they don't do anything to improve it.

Unfortubatley i got bitten by bedbugs wich surprised me because it looked very clean to me. But all in all i had a great stay and i would recomend it to anyone who visits budapest.

Great location, close to a train station which will get you anywhere you'd want to go, a few supermarkets and big market nearby. 20min walk to the ruin bars which was handy. The bathrooms were adequate, just a little far from some of the rooms. The kitchen was weirdly cut into two sections with the dining area in between, but had anything you would need. This hostel had a good work/silent area, so would be good for someone looking for a quite stay. Not a party hostel. No bed bugs in our room

Very dirty hostel, both rooms and bathroom were not clean at all during my stay. Some bed in my dorm had bedbugs and the staff didn't do anything about it unless people had 'photographic evidence'. Also at checkout to retrieve my ID I was given a stack of personal IDs to look through and find my own. This is not acceptable as I had access to everyone's personal information, not acceptable! Definitely avoid this hostel if you can.

DONT BOTHER My friends and I booked the “deluxe private ensuite room” and it’s literally been the filthiest place we’ve ever stayed. The floors hadn’t been vaccumed, hair everywhere, the bins weren’t even emptied from the last person and the bathroom also had not been cleaned at all. The bed linen obviously was the only thing that had been cleaned. Honestly there’s other hostels in budapest with better value. The staff aswell were really judgy and laughed at my friends & i upon entry because I had a huge suitcase and they DONT have a lift so you have to lug your suitcase up 4 flights of stairs and then if ur in a private room lug it back down. Not to mention we rang the doorbell 8x and they didn’t answer at all. Personally would never stay again. Also read previous reviews an the shared rooms all apparently had bed bugs.

BEDBUGS!!! Couldn’t even stay here and had to book a different hotel. The curtains were missing from the bunks because of ‘cleaning issues’ and someone in our dorm found dead bedbugs and bedbug eggs in their bunk. Hostel was initially reluctant to refund as ‘the bed bugs aren’t alive’ and when they did refund would only give us a cash refund in HUF, despite us paying fully by card. They don’t tell you to read both sides of the T&Cs, which have a 7 line bullet point on their issue with bedbugs.

The bedrooms were pretty filthy, tons of bugs coating the ceiling. A quick pass with a vacuum would’ve helped. We constantly saw a cleaning crew but the place continued to get dirtier? They would run a mop over the floor daily, without sweeping first, just pushing the dirt around. The bathrooms were heinous. Mold and dirt coating the floors, filled with bugs and clearly had not been treated with a chemical cleaner. Found a bedbug my last night & was told by reception “not to think about it”
