Stumble Inn Backpackers Lodge

Very noisy, uncomfortable bads, poor facilities. Staff is trying to keep the place clean but the guests around just do not care.

De kamer moest nog worden schoongemaakt, dus ik heb mijn was buiten opgehangen en ging naar een wijnproeverij. Bij terugkomst was de al in januari gereserveerde kamer aan iemand anders gegeven. Volgens hen ligt de fout bij Hostelworld; jullie systeem heeft volgens hen een dubbele boeking gemaakt. Heb daarom mijn aanbetaling niet teruggekregen en website reageert niet op mijn mail! Extra kosten moeten maken voor vervoer naar andere accommodatie!

To ruina w każdym aspekcie i komary nie pozwalają spać w nocy.

In the 6 people dorm only 1 outlet for charging. No lockers for keeping bags safe in the room. Only 1 bathroom with warm water. In the morning hearing they rented out the hostel for a birthday party, so no storing your bag as normal (just everybody needed to leave before 10). No solutions, nothing. Wifi extremely slow (if working). Hostel doesn't organise anything, also no groepchat, activities, tours ... nothing that helps/makes a hostel social. Very disappointed.

Ich war für zwei Nächte dort. Als morgens ankam, lagen überall Schwarze Leute rum und schliefen.. auf dem Sofas im Gemeinschaftsraum, aber auch in den Dorms. Auch das Personal fand ich am nächsten Tag dort am schlafen. In der ersten Nacht machten die Leute dort Party bis morgens um sechs. Ich konnte kein Auge zu machen und konnte aber auch keinen vom Personal erreichen. Es war einfach keiner da. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft schon ziemlich ab gerockt und ein Wohlgefühl kommt auf keinen Fal...

L’établissement est correct mais beaucoup trop bruyant. Le manager est étrange.

Needs direct renovation. To start with normal working light in the rooms and fitting doors and lockers

Worst hostel i’ve ever been to. Tiny, dirty rooms with not enough sockets. A lot of mosquitos and very loud in total. Asked the staff to borrow me a towel and they couldn’t help me out, so i couldn’t shower at all.

It was a nice place, with a nice internal garden and bathroom and kitchen in common. The rrom was clean even if was small and without a place ti store the bags.

Hat ne ziemlich gute Lage, man kann also einfach zu Fuß in das Stadtzentrum. Das Bett war jedoch sehr durchgelegen, nur bei einem Waschbecken eine Seife, man konnte das Fenster nur zu machen, aber nicht verschließen (war aber nicht nach außen),

I only stayed here for one night, but the staff were very friendly and I had a good night’s sleep. The laundry facilities were down, but they gave me an easy alternative to use across the street. Good location. They were a bit slow to respond to my communications and the lockers in the room were incredibly small. That said, I had a good stay here.

Für 1 Nacht Okey, würde es jedoch nicht zwingend Empfehlen.

Basic, no frills

Unfortunately, I arrived during the public holiday so nothing was open but the staff was super kind with be, they book me a wine tour to enjoy my day in Stellenbosch! the accommodations are good and good location to take a walk around to the city. I recommand this place!

The beds were not good, the facilities were not clean or not well maintained and people were kind but there was no atmosphere. I would not go back here.

La chambre n’avait pas de lumière et le lit était cassé. Cependant l’emplacement était très bien

Excellent stay. Kind staff. Nice ambience. Great location. Secure. Quiet but active.

Our 6 persons dorm was almost empty hence really quite and chill. Beds were hard but I could sleep fine, even though the air was a bit stuffy. Used and enjoyed the pool table. The outside chill area is nice, but could have been even more neat and clean. We got towels even though they were not included. Staff was nice and helpful.

Das Hostel ist denn in die Jahre gekommen. Alles ist ziemlich am Ende. Wer keine großen Erwartungen hat an Komfort, für den passt es. Ist ohnehin das einzige Backpackers in Stellenbosch. Ich hab schon deutlich bessere Backpackers gesehen.

I enjoyed my first Hostel experience, friendly personnel and neat !

Room was all good but very hot, no fan, mozzies, no hot water and an alarm was going off for a long part of the night.

The place is okay for a few days stop in Stellenbosch. It is basic, but has everything you need! The staff is really nice, friendly and helpful!

Die Mehrbettzimmer haben keine Fenster. Wir hatten ein DZ mit viel Licht und Ventilator, und das war gut so !

Perfectly clean and in order Personnel is not very helpfull for the activities and advices The lodge was quite empty so the atmosphère was not very fancy at the moment Perfect location, à few step away from centre, restaurants, bars, from the Park, thé universirty Good quality/price ratio
