The best were super shaky and flimsy, the only real social area was on the roof, and there never seemed to be any bathrooms available. I’d thought it would be a VERY special place, but it’s very very basic.
Pleno centro. Literas con cortinas que proporcionan mayor intimidad y luz de lectura. Café y té gratis por la mañana. Lo malo : no se puede pagar con tarjeta, te cobran por las toallas y por dejar la mochila un par de horas después de la hora de check-out. El edredón es demasiado grueso y pasas mucho calor por la noche, ese tipo de edredones es para lugares donde hace mucho frio como Madrid o Alemania, no para un clima templado como el de Canarias.
Full center. beds with curtains that provide greater privacy and reading light. free coffee and tea in the morning. the bad thing: you can't pay by card, they charge you for towels and for leaving the backpack a couple of hours after check-out time. the blanket is too thick and you spend a lot of heat at night, that type of blanket is for places where it's very cold like Madrid or Germany, not for a temperate climate like the Canary Islands.
Me pareció un buen hostal, aunque cabe recalcar que no es exactamente lo de la foto y los colchones ya están un poco viejos de la habitación compartida. El personal muy bien, se me quedo algo y fueron muy amables de enviármelo por correo a la península.
I thought it was a good hostel, although it is worth pointing out that it is not exactly the one in the photo and the mattresses are already a little old from the shared room.
Agaete is beautiful and so is the roof terrace of this hostel!
Great patio! Only thing that was t great was the yoga classes each morning you have to pay another 10 euros on top of the accommodation. In my opinion it should be included. But teachers were wonderful!!

Der Check-in nach 13 Uhr ist etwas kompliziert. Man bekommt vorab eine Mail, in der alles erklärt ist. Man sollte es auf jeden Fall einen Tag vor der Anreise machen und nicht erst vor Ort, da man sonst eine Weile auf den Code für den Schlüsselkasten warten muss. Leider bekommt man die Mail dazu direkt nach der Buchung (was bei mir etwa 4 Monate vor der Reise war) und dann vergisst man das einfach wieder. Das Dorm ist sehr klein für 6 Personen und die Spinte stehen genau zwischen den Betten, ...
Check-in after 1pm is a bit complicated. you get an email in advance explaining everything. you should definitely do it a day before arrival and not on site, otherwise you have to wait a while for the code for the key box. unfortunately you get the mail for it directly after booking (it was with me about 4 months before the trip) and then you just forget about it again. the dorm is very small for 6 people and the spindles are right between the beds, which was a big deal.
Very nice place to stay. Nice with morning yoga on the terrass, very nicely decorated rooms. Only negative maybe that kitchen is a little small when all guests are there.

It was so beautiful, I would recommend it.
Remote arbeiten klappt leider nicht so gut. Nur draußen auf dem Rooftop. Aber eher Lounge Style. Ansonsten aber alles super! Es wird seeeehr oft sauber gemacht und die Yoga Stunde um 8:30 morgens ist toll.
Remote work unfortunately doesn't work so well. Just outside on the rooftop. But more lounge style. Ansonsten but everything is great! It's often made cleaner and the Yoga Hour at 8:30 am is great.
I had the best time in CasaCalma, the Morning Yoga was amazing, you can easily reach spots all over the island from Agaete and the parking situation is great. Elisabeth, Eva and Ramiro are the best hosts, they made me feel at home immediately and always took good care of me ❤️

The morning yogas were a wonderful way to start the day, I took 3 x package which was 25€ altogether. Rami was awesome, super-helpful and kind staff! The hostel was calm and silent at night, take earplugs if you’re a little sensitive sleeper as the church bells might wake you up otherwise. The 4-person female dorm was super cute, and on the rooftop, would really recommend that room! Thank you so much to the staff! I stayed over Christmas and New Year Calma Environment,great Yoga what a village particularly over festive period street party’s ,live music ,entertainment. I’ll be back next year thank you Casa Calma
Such a great stay. The staff are truly amazing and the vibe is great! Options for a paid morning yoga class, and such an easy walk to town or to the natural swimming pools.

Rami was the nicest person to welcome us and show us around! The rooftop terrace is amazing. The pueblo itself is very quiet and full of local people, nice to really calm down. Since it’s so small we felt super safe, although there was no locker for our personal valuables available.

Pasé solo una noche allí, y tengo que decir que encontré la calma que iba buscando...si en algún momento puedo volver sin duda lo haré :))
I spent one night alone there, and I have to say that I found the calm I was looking for...if at some point I can come back I will definitely do it :))

I came here from a fairly miserable hostel so maybe that’s helped but honestly I loved it here. The lady working there was lovely and helpful, the facilities were clean and never unavailable, the dorm room had loads of space and although the kitchen is very small, it has everything you need. The other people staying there were very friendly, simply lovely people seemed to go here. I really wish I could’ve stayed longer but I will next time.
