Pin Poshtel Saigon

The pictures are far from what the hostel looks like in reality. The smell when entering was so strong and it was even worse in the dorm and the bathroom, making it hard to breathe. I have low standards when it comes to traveling and staying at cheap hostels, but it was shocking to me how EVERYTHING was covered in black mold, especially in the room right next to the beds. This is extremely unhealthy and after staying only a few hours in there I already felt it in my lungs and throat. Never again

Clean hostel, but don't go there for lunch. They rip of foreign travellers and overcharge them for average meals, charging double the price than locals pay. Be careful, they do it on purpose!!

Photos are not up to date. The bottom floor is now a breakfast restaurant and charges for the airport transfer. Otherwise great staff and close to everything while being a quiet safe haven.

Black mold on the ceiling, no air or windows in the rooms. Little dog barks at you every time you enter. But at least they let you park inside safely

stayed here for three night. wouldn’t recommend staying that long. one night might be fine. the room was fine, had a working ac. however the corridor was really warm and humid, therefore had lots of mosquitos in the bathrooms as well. the staff was really nice however the athmosphere wasn’t. dark and quiet hostel. not social whatsoever. that’s probably because there aren’t any good common areas.

The hostel has transitioned to a kitchen/restaurant on the first floor, leaving no common area for the guests. Rooms are small and facilities are not very clean and security was lacking as the room key should be left outside of your dorm door for others to use. The staff was friendly, however I could not complete my stay there.

I had small ants in my lower bunkbed my first night, got to change to upper! 15 min walk to the center, quite steep/narrow stairs. Small doorms but good lockers. You kind of share space with the owners and the social area is a restaurant. Not social hostel at all, quite clean bathrooms! A bit hard to find the hostel, in an alleyway och the front door is wierd! But would recomend of you want to be alone and only need a place to sleep. Female doorm with 4 beds. The dog in a diaper:(

The staff were always super helpful and lovely here and it is in a great location. It does not resemble the pictures however, the reception is a small restaurant and the bathrooms are open witha a urinal right next to the stairwell making it a little awkward at times. I had a random come into my dorm one morning and try to get into bed with me, not sure if they mistook the room for theirs and the key worked on both doors?

I have really mixed feelings about this place. But what I can say, is that I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. The pros are its location. It has pretty clean showers with good water pressure. Half pro/con was that, because the hostel was so empty, I got a dorm to myself. The staff are perfectly nice. There’s AC in the dorm. Cons? There is no atmosphere. It is antisocial. The pictures are woefully outdated, too. It smells like pee, everywhere. That poor little dog, is he being loved?

good location, clean, worth of money and wonderfull staff Gotta give a huge compliment for Mr. Jino - the owner, who was very friendly, usefull and welcoming us from the moment we arrive till the day we leave.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. It has everything you need the beds were clean and comfortable the toilets were also well maintained and AC. Overall, I felt really comfortable here and would definitely come back anytime. The only small downside is that the sanitary facilities could use some renovation. However, I’ve seen much worse in Vietnam, so it’s absolutely manageable. For the price, you really can’t complain. I’d also like to highlight the very friendly hosts.

I had an amazing time at the Pin Poshtel Hostel. The location is great and the beds were really comfortable. The best were the hosts though, who were incredibly kind and always ready to help. Would recommend!!

Der Besitzer ist super lieb und allgemein befindet sich das Hostel an einer tollen Lage. Ich hatte ein privatzimmer und war leider nicht komplett zufrieden… Es war dreckig und an den Wänden waren viele tote Silberfische, aber noch lebende Babys. In der ersten Nacht war ich mir unsicher, ob ich trotzdessen dort bleiben möchte, habe mich dann aber dazu entschieden zu bleiben und die nächsten Nächte hat es mich nicht gestört. Muss jeder für sich wissen

The owner of this hostel was so lovely and welcoming, he gave us many recommendations of things to do and see within the city. Rooms were amazing with air con and a lovely thick duvet (one of the best nights sleep since we’ve been travelling). Not a very lively atmosphere although it was mentioned people had cancelled due to flight cancellations although we didn’t mind as it meant me and my friend had the room to ourselves!!

Jin and the rest of the staff were so lovely, and accomodating. We arrived quite late at night and it wasn't an issue at all. The hostel is in a great location. Our room was comfortable, but did not have a window. We did not spend much time at the hostel so it's great as a base, but we didn't find it to be very social. The shared facilities are servicable, not the most luxe experience but I believe well worth the money paid.

Lovely hostel, funny kind hosts and great central location !

By far the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Ho Chi Minh City. I’ve tried four different hostels here in the past month, and it stands clearly above the rest. The cleanliness is excellent, everything is well maintained, the common areas are comfortable. The owner is kind, professional, always available when you need something, but never intrusive. The location is also perfect, close to restaurants, cafés, and the city center, making it easy to get around the city. Highly recommended!

The host made our stay so lovely and easy. The room was modern and cozy with a very comfy bed. Everyone here was very welcoming and smiley. The toilets were clean. Located in a prime area of HCMC. Highly recommend staying here :)

I had a wonderful stay at Pin Poshtel for 3 nights while visiting District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Had a couple of good nights at this hostel. Met interesting people, got good nights sleep, easy to access the city centre. Can recommend if you wanna try out this part of Saigon.
