The location is good, but the hostel is really dirty. It felt like the rooms haven’t been cleaned in weeks and the curtains doesn’t cover the whole bed. The free breakfast you gotta make by yourself.

Nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une chambre remplie de moisissures vraiment prédominante (tout un pan de murs). Première fois depuis 2 mois en Asie que nous avons un cafard dans la chambre. Concernant le petit déjeuner ne vous attendez à rien. Vous devez le faire vous même et il est composé d’eau, de pain de mi et 2 œufs. La moisissures était vraiment le point négatif, c’est dangereux pour la santé et l’odeur je ne vous en parle pas.

Coucou Homestead est bien placé. Par contre l’annonce sur Hostelworld est fausse. Il n’y a pas de petit déjeuner compris et la réception n’est pas dispo 24h/24h. La propreté laisse à désirer. Une seule salle de bain pour plusieurs chambres ce n’est pas possible. Nous avons été très déçues.

Nice stay, the location was very great however the bathrooms weren’t that nice. We stayed for two nights which was perfect. If you stay longer maybe choose a nicer place. However for the price we paid that is what we expected and we were satisfied.

Hostel is ok. I just didn’t understand why they allow extra people in the room. I booked 6 bed dorm room. There was extra dude sleeping on the floor on the mattress. Not only he was snoring like sailor but also took half of room space. Receptionist was nice about it but they didn’t want to change the situation or give me my money back because I didn’t want to stay there. Manager needs to understand that’s not how you do business. Hostel itself is fine for few nights. Two shower rooms.

It's adequate. I stayed 3 nights in a private room. The location is quiet. The room is big, but hot (in April which is the hot month and on the top floor and the AC not strong enough), and a bit dusty (e.g. the fan could use a cleaning). For breakfast they put out some eggs (raw) and a loaf of sliced bread. You cook. The man who opens the doors in the morning speaks one word answer English. It's doesn't have the friendly and informative hostel atmosphere I look for; it's more of a halfway house.

Pro : great location Cons: the staff doesn't speak English, and unfortunately even with Google translate, was difficult to communicate which you might think is not a big deal but it is if you need to communicate something important. There is only one toilet available for so many people for 2 floors and is nasty, big chunks of hair etc, Some higher beds don't have protection at all so if you are a deep sleeper be careful, and also on some floors there are no lockers at all to keep your valuables

Very friendly staff good facilities it's down a lane way so not any noise at all. Has a nice garden to chill out in.

Really great when travelling on a budget. The rooms are great and the staff is incredibely nice and helpful. We would stay here again anytime!

loved this hostel, only one bathroom for the floor but wasn’t a big issue, very clean and staff were lovely! the dorm was big with great curtains! there was a lot of 30-50s aged men staying in our room though… and they all snored which wasn’t ideal but not a fault of the hostel :)

i had a comfortable stay and liked the hostel. it felt clean but the shower was a little clogged. they provided towels and provided toiletries. the location was very central and you were able to walk everywhere. i took a grab from the airport which was really cheap. they provided free lockers and closed the gates at night. unfortunately the door was a little broken, so it didn't properly close and it was very very loud and annoying.

I stayed 2 nights in the dorm at Coucou Lê Thị Riêng — one night booked through an app and one night booked directly (you’ll get a better rate that way 😉). Honestly, I was really satisfied with my stay! The dorm is simple but super clean. Each bed has a privacy curtain, reading light, personal socket, and locker, so even though it’s a shared room, it still felt quite private. This was an amazing hostel and I have nothing bad to say! The location is perfect. The bathrooms and rooms are clean. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The vibes are cozy and it is not hard to talk to other people. They have coffee, water, and a kettle available. AC and fans in room (much needed in Saigon). I ended up extending 3 additional nights! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend!

The room was very nice! But we had a shared bathroom which was disguisting. The shower drain was clogged so when you took a shower, almost the whole bathroom floor turned into a pool. There were never any toilet paper and other guests were smoking in the bathroom, which left a really bad and strong smell. We also saw rats in the reception a couple of times. Other than that, the private room was nice with a balcony, a sink and everything that you need.

Nice rooms and good location - although it is not where shown on Google maps - it is down the lane at 121, yellow building. No real atmosphere but reasonable price for the size and location.

I had a pleasant stay here in a perfect location. Comfortable bad, nice lockers. But there were some less good things too. I asked them to do my laundry, but I got it back a full day later. Luckily I had some leeway, but imagine I had to leave in the morning with my airplane or bus and they still had half my clothes. I had to keep reminding them, it was stressful. They apologised once, but when I finally got it and I mentioned once the service was bad, I heard "I should have told them earlier".
