HOFT Hostel Bangkok

The beds are hard af and there are bed bugs, the staff had good elements but also terrible ones ( the old lady is very unhelpfull and should work in a prison, not an hostel ). All the accomodations are ok but they make zéro effort to improve things. Here are few exemples, in the shower you get 3 tiny hooks for you stuff, it would be super easy to hang a decent set of like 5 or 6 hooks but no its 3 kitchen hooks. In the bed room you get only one locker in the bed area there is not a single storage space, again just a planck or small storage would be nice like its the case in most hostels i've been to... But here theres none. Also for some reason it was the hostel with the least amount of friendly guests (most people don't only ignore you they don't wanna talk to you at all), and the highest amount of uneducated fools trashing the toilet, snoozing the alarm over and over, walking in bathroom area with their shoes on etc...

There is no light at the ground floor about 2100, if there are no customers. I got bitten by Bed bugs during my sleep.

เกรินก่อนเลยว่าผมจองที่นี้ไปก่อนเข้าพักนานพอสมควร ผมแจ้งไปว่าขอเตียงด้านล่างได้ไหมเพราะผมมาทำงานต้องตื่นเช้ากลับดึกมากกลัวว่านอนเตียงบนจะทำให้คนด้านล่างเขารำคานเอา พอถึงวันเข้าเช็คอิน พี่พนักงานผช.เขาคุยดีมากๆ แต่มีสาวสองเขานั่งอยู่ด้วย พอผมถามพี่ผช.ว่าอันนี้เตียงล่างรึเปล่า กับ บอกเหตุผลไป ว่าตอนจองก็บอกมาแล้ว สาวสองคนนั้นกลับทำหน้าไม่พอใจกับพูดมา คะ ละหันไปพูดกับพี่ผช.ว่า "เราทำงานมาไม่เห็นมีใครเคยมาของี้เลย" คือจะนินทาคนมาจองที่เขามาขออะไรก็ช่วยรอให้เขาออกไปก่อนได้ไหม หรือ ชอบให้คนที่เขามาพักเขารู้ไปเลยว่าคุณไม่ชอบให้ใครมาขออะไร มาเรื่องห้องต่อ ห้องไม่มีหน้าต่าง เปิดแอร์เต็มที่ ถ้าคุณไม่มีเสื้อกันหนาวนี้เป็นหวัดได้แน่นอนซึ่งใช่ผมเป็นไปเต็มที่มาทำงานเกือบ15วัน แต่เข้าใจได้มันนอนหลายคน คนอื่นอาจชอบแบบนี้ ละสิ่งที่ผมไม่ชอบเลยคือ พอมันไม่มีหน้าต่างให้อากาศด้านนอกช่วงกลางวันได้ถ่ายเท มันจะชื้นเอาแน่ๆเพราะเปิดแต่แอร์และใช่ แมลงเรือด ตัว bed bug มา ผมก็รู้สึกว่าทำไมผมตื่นมาตัวถึงมีแต่แผล แต่ผมพยายามคิดในแง่เว่าผมอาจเกาตอนหลับละไม่รู้ตัวก็ได้ แต่ไม่ใช่มีวันนึงเจอแมลงนี้บนผ้าเช็ดตัวเลย เลยรู้ได้เลยว่าแผลบนตัวนี้ไม่ใช่เกาละ แมลงนี้มากัดตอนกลางคืนชัดเจน เอาเป็นว่า ใครจะมาพักที่นี้ขอให้เห็นเม้นนี้ละตัดสินใจก่อนจองนะ หวังว่าผู้จัดการจะเห็นและอ่าน และปรับปรุงด้วย

From my experience, I do not recommend this place for several reasons, including: 1- There are a lot of bedbugs. Like you sleeping with scorpions. I changed the room three times without success. And the psycho who working there asked me to sign so paper promising that I will never give bad review about Bedbugs and what happened. 2- Theft: I was robbed inside the room. They stole seven hundred baht in cash, an electronic cigarette, a power bank, earphones and a bath towel. I also found a local trying to open my locker. When I told the boy who works at the reception, he said sorry we can do anything . I told him, can you give me a towel because I need to take a shower? He simply said I have to pay one hundred baht. In short, the place is not safe. 3- The Lady*boy who works at the reception, one of the rudest Thais I have ever seen in my life, he has a complex about foreigners, you will not even see a smile on his face. Although his job is to receive people and smile, no, this person is completely different from the rest of the Thais. 4 - If you go to the reception to ask for a service or ask about something, they get angry and it shows on their faces that they do not want to see you they want just to eat and play and watching movies there , except the guy from Myanmar and the Housekeeping the Burmese who working there are very nice. While the two people from Thailand, the ladyboy and the girl, are very bad. And are not able to have this sensitive job . 5- If you arrive after 11 pm, you will not find anyone at the reception, even though the lady*boy lives in a room inside the reception, and he can see all people who came late ,he will not serve you, or Open the door for you ,many people they pay online and it's ended with, waste their money and booked for a nearby hotel, The big joke once a Japanese person came late, but the ladyboy was in the shower up , so the guy he catch him when he will open the reception , you know what happened ?

Full of rude people, mostly older men to so which isnt a issue normally for me but the whole atmosfeer, looks, treatment and vibe were so strange. Doesnt feel like they clean at all when i heard a girl had bedbugss and just looked at her like nothing was going on. And the santiare felt unclean to when every floor was out of toilet paper for 2 days straight. When i left something in the room and i wanted to check in the room if it was still there i was not allowed to go in a big issue to check
