the hostel has just reopened so it was quiet, but the free bar is real and the people there were nice, great location for the ruins and with 3 pools, kitchen and loads of space, it just needs more people which will come, private rooms are great. tulum is expensive so the free bar is very handy, get a collectivo from town 25 pesos or 50 pesos from playa del Carmen to be dropped 100 metres away.
