Got removed from the hostel with no explanation and still waiting for my refund, no word from management even when asked copious amounts of time, Do NOT STAY HERE

The bunk bed frames were rickety so you could both hear and feel when your bunk companion was moving around, the mattress was poor, and generally the facilities need modernisation. Also be aware that the hostel is on the flight path!

I didn't feel particularly comfortable during my stay there.The bedrooms smelled strange, the bathrooms were dirty and totally moldy.The common room and the kitchens were the only things that were okay.However, I wouldn't stay at the hostel a second time.

Wanted to give it a 0 but apparently 2 is as low as you can go..... Wasn't that bad, just trying to get it down from an 8 as it's probably a 4. Probably the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. As soon as I walked in it just gave me decrepit hospital vibes. The hallways and room smelt like mold, you had to pay to use the pool table in the recreation room, the room looked nothing like the photo and had the worst lighting. Je n’ai pas aimé. Chambres très basiques, état moyen, pas de rideaux dans les dortoirs de 6 lits. Très bruyant les week-ends, pas assez de places pour manger car beaucoup utilisent les places pour d’autres choses. Ma nourriture a disparu, personnel peu aidant. Prises électriques rares dans certaines chambres. La seule sécurité si vous laissez votre valise dans la pièce prévu à cet effet est une caméra, aucune preuve de dépôt ou quoi que ce soit d’autre…

Bien située mais assez glauque et vieillotte : chambres grandes mais pas très accueillantes et très bruyantes, sanitaires et cuisine pas très propres, pas assez de frigidaires. Certainement la moins bien des auberges de jeunesse faites jusque là.

After I booked and money deducted from my account and pay extra for cancellation protection. I reach to the place the reception said we are full. Couldn't find anywhere else and had to sleep in the street and after 5 days they didn't hostel didn't want to refund.

Gutes,relativ grosses Hostel im Zentrum von Adelaide. Die Einrichtung ist teils sehr veraltet aber ok. Es hatte viele coole, offene Leute. Die Nasszonen für Frauen könnte etwas sauberer sein. Zudem war die Tür dazu offen für alle zugänglich, wobei ich mich nicht sehr sicher fühlte. Die Küche war in einem ok Zustand.

Staff on the desk were nice. Location is reasonably close to most things. Rooms were extremely average; the room smelt so badly. Also there was no hot water for a proper shower on my arrival. A shower was out of order and one shower was leaking heavily. No power points near the bedding was also annoying

Auberge très pratique, juste à côté de l'arrêt de bus pour aller à l'aéroport. Je recommande pour un séjour sur Adélaïde !

Solid stay at YHA Adelaide, was only there to sleep the night but the guy at the front hooked me up with a room to myself and I happily got a good sleep and run in before my next travel plan the next morning!

Chill hostel with a nice kitchen & friendly staff! Also it was quite empty when I was there, so if you booked an 8-bed-dorm, you didn't have to worry about too many people being in there :)

Brilliant hostel with helpful staff, a big kitchen, spacious living area, balcony, towels and bedding provided, TV and quiet rooms, and activities organised by the hostel. Close to Chinatown, shops, and tram to Glenelg. Only a few negatives: prices go up when there’s an event in the city, a few showers out of order but plenty others available. Quite a lot of solo travellers keeping to themselves but still a sociable place without being a noisy party hostel.

Basic Hostel that contains everything you need. Facilities are a bit old, nevertheless their cleanness is okay. Very good value for the price would definitely stay again.

Great hostel in the centre of Adelaide. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. Beds were comfortable, but it would have been nice to have a power socket at the bed. The showers were clean, powerful, and could usually always get one even at peak times. The reception is good - they can advise on everything, sell refreshments, and the free sunscreen was a nice bonus. The complimentary breakfast I thought was very good. Atmosphere was a little stale but nothing bad. Would stay again.

Es waren einige ältere grauhaarige alleinstehende Männer in dem Hostel und Familien mit Kindern, sodass die klassischen Backpacker eher wenig vertreten waren und man schwer Kontakte knüpfen konnte. Ein großer negativer Punkt für mich ist, dass man, sobald man auscheckt ohne die Karte nicht mehr die Toilette, den Laundryroom und den Gemeinschaftsraum nutzen kann, außer man fragt explizit nach einer orangenen Karte. Das Personal reagiert dann genervt… no go!

A perfectly organized and very clean hostel with a spacy kitchen and common area.

Très bonne auberge à Adélaïde : propre, literie confortable et dortoir féminin calme, possibilité d'emprunter une serviette de bain gratuitement, et localisation pratique tout prêt de l'arrêt de bus avec transport pour aller et venir de l'aéroport. Je recommande !

Great location, I was able to walk to most things and get buses/trams to everything else. The hostel is not the most social but they did put on events every couple of days like BBQ and walking tours. It says you can’t stay more than 2 weeks but it’s clear some people live at the hostel. Kitchen was cleaned regularly and kept to a good standard. Lots of spaces to chill in

Big age range of people from 18 to 70+. As with most YHA’s, clean and great location but not the greatest set up for socialising. Few events you can join but not at the times I was there.

Staff was great

Overall a pretty good hostel. Is mostly very clean, the staff are super helpful and the common area/kitchen facilities are very good. Only thing i would say is that the bathrooms can sometimes be a bit unclean, and feel like they need a bit of a refurb in places. Other than that i would recommend this hostel and it’s in a great location which is very central to adelaide

Very helpful staff, facilities and rooms were clean and a great location for exploring Adelaide! Bus stop very close by to get to lots of different places 😀
