Skopje Downtown Hostel

Calm hostel, not the most social but has whatever is needed, tho I think I caught bedbugs there…

they have bed bugs and the host is rude

I was really happy to stay here as it had great reviews and it seemed clean and cosy but within the 1st hour of me being there i settled down and lay on my bed ( 4 bed mix room) i found bed bugs on my bed. I told the recepionist and he apologised, offered to wash my pijamas and change me room. As it was 2am, i was tired and didnt know where to go i stayed there the night in another room of 6 people. In the morning i asked for a refund so i could go to another hostel and was told no😂 i was given back 5 euros from the 40 i had paid. Was really dissapointed in the response to this. If you stay here make sure to check your beds properly
