Green Cube Hostel

The next day my body was covered by bed bugs bites. This is the worst start of my vacation and experience ever! It's still itchy after 1 week (luckily I was able to wash my clothes 60°c ) in another hotel. Do something for this problem!

The place had bedbugs and then the staff was rude when I informed them, they switched my room. But the room they had moved me to had stains all over the walls, and throughout the entire hostel it smelled of moldy piss. Really put a drain on my time in bulgaria, would not recommend.

I think I was stung by bed bugs during my stay (It was the only possibility that I could think of.) Hope the hostel can deal with it immediately. Other than that it relatively nice.

This stay was ruined by a very serious issue: bed bugs in the bed. I noticed them before even falling asleep, clearly visible in the mattress area. This alone is enough to make the place unacceptable. Bed bugs are a major hygiene and health concern and should never happen in any accommodation. The overall cleanliness of the hostel was poor. The capsule and bedding did not feel properly cleaned, and bathrooms and common areas were below an acceptable standard. To be fair, the staff were okay and polite, and I do not blame them personally. However, this does not change the fact that the presence of bed bugs is a complete failure of hygiene and management. I strongly warn future guests: regardless of price or location, bed bugs are a deal-breaker. I would not stay here again.

On the day of the booking, I saw some other reviews mentioning bedbugs and I decided to ask for a cancelation with refund. Now, staff did say my request was approved and my funds would be refunded but this did not happen. More than a week after that I asked a second time and they assured me they would refund. Again, this did not happen. I would not book there ever not only because there is a potential hazard, but also because they are liars. They should have told the truth from the very beginning.

I had to change capsules due to bed bugs but they quickly condemned the room and moved me into another capsule. I had a choice and moved into a 6 capsule room, however some of the guests made a lot of noise coming in and out also with the lights. The locker was broken and had no lock to close the door.

The ugly.... killed a bedbug in my bed , fat guy, with my blood in him. Had one more to kill Had to try and sleep with light on

the mattress was very dirty when you pull the sheets back. there is a strange smell near the kitchen that lingers on your clothes when you leave. one of the showers on first floor is clogged. no lock on the showers.

Bedbugs. I know this issue is overwhelming entire Europe, but you cant just put towels in front of doors to block bedbugs. This needs a bit more drastic treatment.

Está INFESTADA DE CHINCHES (BED BUGS). Si bien el personal es majo, NO RECOMIENDO QUEDARSE EN ESTA HOSTAL. Además de los bichos creo que la organización de la limpieza está mal. Pase una muy mala estancia. Repito que el personal es majo. Pero lamentablemente con eso no basta.

- habían bedbugs/chinches - los baños no eran muy limpios, en especial las duchas - parece más una residencia, mucho adulto mayor viviendo en el hostal - tienen cocina pero no hay implementos para cocinar ni comer - la ubicación está bastante alejada del centro

Bedbugs in my room which I only saw in the morning. I moved to another place, putting all my stuff in trashbags, to not soread them, but I am covered in about 20-30 itchy huge red spots on my hands and a lot on my neck and even on my face. I dtayed in room 26, I told the receptionist sbout the bedbugs, so I hope the take proper measures. In any case, do not stay in room 26 in the near future. By the way I always check for bedbugs, I did this time too before getting into bed, and didnt see anything, so be super careful if you are planning to stay here.

Worst place I ever stayed at. -Bed bugs - Psychotic people - Homeless people who don’t shower - Mold in the fridge - A guy in my room had a knife laying around openly. Reception said don’t worry about it. - Couldn’t transfer to a female dorm even though I had booked one Whatever you do don’t do it! If you already did it’s not worth it. Leave to a better place !

L'état de la salle de bain je n'ose même pas en parler, pas sur de ressortir plus propre après la douche. Les toilettes, même constat et les chambres avec supplément punaises de lit offert, que dire de plus...

Dirty bathroom facilities, room smells horrible, people staying long term in the hostel yell at each other, crawling bed bugs on pillows (see below), people walking completely naked in dorm shared space. Worst hostel I have ever been in.

I got completely bitten by bedbugs and when I reported it they said 'we are taking care of it, but cannot process the whole hostel at once' which makes me think they willingly gave me a spot thet knew was plaged? I was bitten over 50 times across my whole body, this was no small thing. Had never happened in my life.

I had a very unpleasant experience when i woke up, i saw a couple of red rashes, most likely from "bed bugs." it was itchy in the evening, and when i woke, it was spread. I ask the hostel staff to check the mattresses for the next clients. Thanks.

Les douches et sanitaires sont sales, les gens n’ont aucun savoir vivre en communauté. Punaise de lit rencontré au milieu de la nuit, je m’en suis rendu compte au bout de la 13e piqûres. Le personnel m’a tout de suite changé de chambre. Malheureusement il y a eu des vols, il faudrait mettre plus de casier à disposition.

J'ai eu du mal à dormir puisque le soir j'ai vu un cafard courir sur mon matelas, plus tard dans la nuit j'ai vu une punaise de lit sur le mur

This is not clean at all ! !! Was the cleaning staff on vacation??? I found in my bed some hairs, a paper of a girl period pad ! Seriously the floors was disgusting everywhere, room included, bathroom barely washed once a day hence hair everywhere, pee smell, dirt ect… Also nothing cosy, you can’t chill. The neighbourhood is not nice.

The person who runs the hostel is not friendly or friendly at all. If you want to leave your backpack before or after check-in, he will charge you a supplement of 4 levs. The hostel is in a very ugly area of ​​the city. The place is very dirty, there were bed bugs and the kitchen and bathrooms were never cleaned

Rooms had a nice design with comfortable beds and good heating, but the biggest issue were BED BUGS. I came back covered in bites and saw bugs crawling on the wall by my bed. Overall, cleanliness could be better. Hostel is further away from the city than it seems on the map. There is a bus station and grocery store nearby, but it takes around to 30 minutes to walk to the city centre. Staff is quite nice and understanding, but they struggle to communicate in English.

Bed bugs. Insects. Clover mites. Absolutely VILE and disturbing. I have a feeling the insects in room 22 are coming from certain open outlet sockets. Dead bed bugs, alive bed bugs, insects on the sheets, tiny red mites in the bed. Disturbing.
