The Sirena Insolente Hostel

Fui por recomendación de una persona cercana, pero no se si lo yo lo haría. En general encontré acogedor el lugar, sin embargo, la habitación compartida con otras 5 personas le entraba un mal olor por la ventana, que de hecho no cerraba, así que en las noches tuve que tapar con mis cosas (dormía al lado de esa ventana). En general no me molestó tanto, pero no es algo que esperaría pensando que preparan el espacio para los que llegan. Fuera de eso, una joven que se alojó comentó que al parecer habían chinches en la habitación, no los vi pero si genero incomodidad en la noche. Mucho caos en lo que corresponde a la cocina, entiendo que es compartido, pero otra cosa es la mantención del orden y limpieza también.

I do however think I may have had bed bugs… one to watch. The main downside of the hostel was 1, the cleanliness. the cleaning lady barely cleaned the bathroom everyday and never touched the main rooms. you could just tell it all needed a good scrub. 2, the surf school at the hostel… AVOID. The guy in charge is seriously rude and very odd with women. he was aggressive on several occasions when i was there with me and it seemed to be a common fact that he was very out of order with guests. his treatment of women in particular was horrific. i do overall recommend staying here and i would come back but save yourself the drug school experience and go to one of the places at the beach - firstly cheaper and secondly nicer people and you don’t have to carry the board all the way there. the surf school really let down the rest of the hostel.

Very social Hostel next to the beach. Great for surfing and chillin. Atmosphere is very social, we had one Pizza Night and more or less every evening campfire. Unfortunately our bathroom were dirty and not cleaned at all (stayed 1 week). Last night we found bedbugs in all beds of the dorm!!
