Sky Hostel

No one spoke English at reception and we had to wait a couple of hours to even be let into the building as no one would come to the door. Very bad smell throughout building. All bedding and linen was dirty. Full of older men that seemed to be living there. We never saw anyone who worked in the hostel other than one time when we tried to check in. Room, common room, kitchen and toilet very dirty. Did not feel safe at all during stay.

This is not a proper hostel. There’s people living there and the staff doesn’t speak a single word of English. There’s people living kitchen, bathroom, and showers are pretty dirty. The kitchen is badly equipped. I booked a private room because there were mir female dorms and I simply got a dorm for myself. The Night before I left the hostel cancelled my Booking even though I already payed and slept there. Simply weird. The people who are living there dont say hi and are weird. Dont re...

WARNING! Book at your own risk. This is an unsafe place to stay. Uncaring staff, no security, lots of sketchy males. Read the comments below several women have been assaulted here. I myself was profiled and verbally abused by management when I brought up their wrongdoings. On top of this, the place has zero amenities, bad vibes, non-working wifi, dirty bathrooms/kitchen, uncomfortable beds. Worse possible stay ever.

Worst experience i've ever had in my whole life w hostels. We arrived at moring and tried to leave our luggages (as we do at all hostels around the world) and appear and sweet lady screaming in polish and making signals to leave there, there was no possibility to talk to her and ask about lockers or something like that cause she doesnt speak english. In addition, the 1st pic shows and amazing bulding, this is not the hostel, this place is in front there and the bulding of the hostel are horrible

The lady helped me with my check-in around 12:30 AM. Thanks for that. BUT it was horrible. The place was full of man, the toilets were shared, dirty and smelly. There were only 2 shared bathrooms. The kitchen was dirty, next to the toilets. I have never faced these before. This was my first time experiencing the worst stay ever, I COULDN’T sleep, didn’t feel secure. On my last night, someone broke things and made noise at midnight and talked with the lady at 4-5 o’clock. Don’t recommend ...

This hostel is the worst hostel i ever been at! The staff were so unpleasant, They didnt even say hi when we walked in, just asked for our passports. The place were dirty and the facilities were bad! 3 toilets and 2 showers to share for the whole hostel! The locks to the room didnt work, so i felt so unsafe the whole night. Right before midnight the night before check out, They cancelled our booking, so we couldnt write a bad review, had to contact the website serviceteam! Dont go to Sky Hostel....

Goed: locatie Slecht: al de rest. Lijkt wel een daklozenopvang. Vol dronken oude mannen. Onconfortabel. Mensen die vast in hostel wonen. Personeel spreekt enkel Pools, is niet vriendelijk, wil niet helpen, wordt constant boos zonder reden. Smerig, super vies, zowel kamer, als keuken en badkamer. Oude vrouw gooit eelt van voeten op de grond in slaapkamer. Eten van 1 week oud op de kamer. Keuken stinkt altijd. Afvalbakken stromen over. 2 douches voor +/- 40 mensen, geen to...

Absolutely terrible, you won’t see a recent review here because they cancel your stay before you leave as to make a review impossible. Bad service, bad rooms, low cleanliness and terrible facilities. I do not recommend staying here at all. Only saving grace is location but that does not make up for the rest. Take your money elsewhere!

I was lucky to have gone with my partner and book a private room, therfore have a room with a locked door. However, this place did not feel safe for solo female travellers. There is a code to enter the building however it felt like at night men (without bed/rooms) would use the code to gain access to the corridor and stay in the building. The toilets are located through a the corridor and at night I did not feel safe leaving my room to go to the toilet. The place was dirty and understaffed.

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce, idealne na krótki pobyt. Pokój był zadbany i dobrze wyposażony, a atmosfera w hostelu naprawdę miła. Dużym plusem jest lokalizacja oraz sprawna obsługa.

Pobyt oceniam bardzo pozytywnie — obiekt był dobrze utrzymany, spokojny i sprzyjał odpoczynkowi.

It did not feel safe as a female solo traveler. I feel lucky to come out alive.

L’auberge était sale, personne pour accueillir, les personnes qui étaient dans notre chambre était très étranges... on s’est pas vraiment senti en sécurité

Per una notte può andare bene ed essere accettabile c’è il minimo indispensabile e almeno ha gli armadietti con i lucchetti, la gente che c’è dentro è poco raccomandabile e non ti senti totalmente al sicuro

At the time of our visit, this hostel was full of foreign workers. Since they are all male, and the showers and toilets are accessed by walking through the communal area and the kitchen, it's not pleasant for females. The facilities are scant. For example, just two rings and a microwave to cook and only two showers and three WC cubicles. There are no laundry facilities. My husband's mattress must have been infested with bed bugs because he was covered in bites. And reception was never manned.

Thank you for this place. Bed with private lamp, electricity and locker. Very clean, comfortable matress. Free cofe and tea

I liked staying there. The room was clean. The location is also perfect cuz it's in the old town. Recommend staying there

Olía fatal, un ambiente muy raro parece que es gente que vive ahí siempre. Por la noche mucho ruido de algún extractor industrial o algo parecido que no te dejaba dormir. Excesivo calor y todo sucio, áreas comunes, baño etc... Me encontré un cucaracha en mi cama... A favor he de decir que esta bien ubicado y que las camas eran cómodas. No suelo quejarme de los alojamientos, pero este era bastante peculiar digámoslo así

Cleanliness was okay (what you expect when you pay the price) but safety is debatable. We had a bunch of alcohol/nicotine addicted adults in our room who were drunk for the entire time we stayed in the hostel. I find it personally irresponsible to let those type of people inside the dorm, as this is also a family hostel. And I find it ironic that there was a no drinking alcohol rule, yet no one ever checked that (but keeping your luggage at the reception was scandalous). Just wouldn't recommend.

There are no locks on the bedroom doors, and during my stay, most guests were older men who made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. After being a******** in the bathroom by one of these men, I called the police, but the owner was unhelpful. My review isn’t about the hostel itself—its amenities were standard—but about how the owner mishandled the situation. Read Google reviews before booking. NOT SAFE FOR SOLO FEMALE TRAVELERS.

Now this hostel is far from 8.0, so I'll downgrade it a little. Interesting thing: Sky Hostel has the same contacts and owner as Ametyst Hostel, where I was before. And today just like the previous time my booking somehow was cancelled just before the check-out. I don't believe in coincidence in this case, it seems that the owner have done it so that I couldn't leave a review (maybe I'm not the only one). This place could be and must be better, now only location is fabulous.

Very dirty and chaotic hostel, prob hasnt been cleaned in months

They have a super friendly cat, but there are no cat hairs or so to be found anywhere. The showers are a little nasty so don't forget your flipflops and stay in the middle when showering (the walls look icky). The people that work there are super helpful and friendly, there was just no one present when I tried to check out.
