by a long shot the worst hostel i have stayed in, absolutely disgusting and constantly smells like piss. There are cockroaches everywhere along with a couple bed bugs. On top of this there is also no security in the slightest. This hostel does not look like the pictures at all, do not stay here!

This hostel is something I absolutely do not recommend. The photos they use for promotion across apps and their website no longer match the current reality. I booked for one week based on those photos, but I only lasted one night before moving out. I understand and accept the noise and lights since I was sharing the room with many people. However, I went to sleep at 11 PM and kept waking up every hour feeling itchy and covered in bites. I could only sleep until around 2:30 AM. When I checked with a flashlight, I found many small insects—bedbugs—on the bed. I couldn’t stand the itching and the bites. No bath towel was provided. The common area, where the microwave and water heater are, was full of small insects. The bathroom is poorly maintained. During the day, when the room is full of people, the air conditioning is turned off and they just leave the door open. This is the worst and dirtiest hostel experience I’ve ever had. For SGD 30, I decided to move out the next day and accept losing my money. If you can tolerate it, go ahead—but if not, it’s better to find another place.

No pude pasar la noche, me tuve que ir a pocas horas de llegar, las habitaciones son desagradables , sucias, de solo sentarte en la cama vas a terminar toda picada por las chinches . Very dirty place, many cockroach, bedbugs, rats. Smell of urine place. Would never recommend others to this place at all

Worst place I have ever stayed. The hygiene standards were non existent. Was ridden with bed bugs, damp and mould, dark short hairs on bed, white tissue left on bed with fluids on, foul smell- older men clearly living there for months- made very inappropriate comments to us (two 21 year old girls travelling)… this hostel was unsafe to stay in for young girls, and was also a health hazard… when we bought this to staff attention, they refused refund and ignored us- very rude and hushed us out.

Avoid this place unless you have no other option . Smelly , dirty , possibly bed bugs . Slept no more than 4 hours I found my bed occupied by another guest at 9am even before I could check out at 11. Keep in mind the area is called little India . .

Price: 10/10 Cheapest hostel in market. Service: 2/10 The service are really suck, after 7pm can't contact receiption. Stay for 4 nights when 3rd and 4th night got other guest claimed the bed belonging to them and no hostel staff pick up a call or handle on this issue. Recommend: Looking for affordable price as priority than cleaness as well as service. I will recommend it. But to me if got dispute with the others guest without any assistance from staff, then is bad experience on this.

Das Hostelworld dieses Hostel überhaupt anbietet ist ein Verbrechen gegen die Menschheit. Wer aber kein Problem mit Kakerlaken, Bettwanzen, Ratten, Kacke und Urin, kein Toilettenpapier hat und auch ohne Decke schlafen will, der wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Man sollte nur keinen Geruchssinn besitzen und am Besten auch kein Gehör. Wir haben schon viel erlebt aber hier war wohl die Grenze.

Do not stay here! Worst property and service ever. Scamming business using OTA’s non-refundable policy when overbooked. I made a booking through Agoda for my friends visiting Singapore for the first time. Honestly, this is not even a choice of hostel I would choose from but they decided to give it a go despite the bad reviews. I booked 2 bunk beds, indicated in the request, sent a message and even tried calling but to no response every single time prior to arrival. Fine, so on the check in day itself when my friends arrived after a long flight journey, a man from the reception told them that there is only 1 bed available and the other person will have to share bed with a stranger?! Are you joking?! So my friend couldn’t be bothered and decided to leave without staying and booked another hotel. Asked me to write in to Agoda about what happened to get a refund. Agoda said that they will have to get a response from property and the property is not answering. So we were nearby the next day and decided to went in asking about the refund. To start with, the female receptionist was very rude and did not bother asking what happened that day and said it’s non refundable. I tried explaining they had overbooking issue but she was throwing me attitude throughout and claimed that she did not see my friend and there is no male staff (there are! Even stated in reviews) I then started reasoning not in my nicest tone after getting attacked by the way she had been talking to me and said why not look at the CCTV to stop the saga. She refused and at that point my friend just wanted to leave it to Agoda and asked for her name which she refused and replied very rudely by ‘you don’t need to know’ and pointed at me saying that I was very rude, I was so pissed off by her attitude. We are not asking for something more but getting our rights since there is a missing bed from the booking which is obviously the property’s issue and only asking for a refund. We were both working in hospitality and such service is despicable. She is not a local and I hope anyone who visited there would not take this as a typical Singaporean’s service standard. She then started calling her ladyboss who is as rude as her, non local too. Without asking what happened or knowing how her staff had been talking to me, she said I am rude to her staff, it was a video call showing our faces and not her’s which I find it very uncomfortable for her to be doing that without our consent. The ladyboss said that she will not let Agoda refund us and will not let me see the CCTV unless I report to the police. I guess they are guilty of what they are doing or the CCTV is not working since there is no light, that’s why they cannot provide proof to check and is a safety concern especially in the entrance area! The way they are handling does not sound like they are shocked or sorry for what we are experiencing but very experienced in handling situation like this, tapping on to OTA’s non-refundable policy during overbooking to earn the profit. Is true that it happened before when I read older reviews (there were cases like this) Is disgraceful to have people like them with no ethic and mannerism running business in Singapore ruining tourists’ initial experience. Honestly, this place should be delisted from everywhere and deserves to be shut down and fined. Worst place ever and not a single apology. AVOID AT ALL COST! I am not even talking about the dirty room and bathroom this place has yet (filled with bedbugs, cockroaches and rat from the reviews are pretty good enough for you to stay away). Do yourself a favour and book another place there are many other hostels of the similar price with good/better location even if you are on a budget and do not want your experience in Singapore to be ruined. If not, you will probably have the chance of paying more on medical after getting bitten or upset stomach from the hygiene of this place, or this signature (not even classic) move of Campbell Inn - no bed for you and is non-refundable 🤡

Bed bugs, dirty, only praise I can give is the receptionist was lovely and the location is good. Everything else, terrible. I didn’t stay the night and booked somewhere else

The worst hostel ever, I know its very cheap for Singapore. But there is no hospitality here. During my stay, there was a bed bug on someone bed and when that clicked a photo of that bug. A staff member saw this and started shouting on the guy. He almost punched him.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 2 nights and 1 star would be too much. The place has bed bugs, they’ve bit me all over and got in my backpacks. We had to pay to get everything washed and when my partner messaged Agoda about it, requesting some money back, the hotel never responded. They must know the bugs are there but just don’t care. The toilets are also disgusting and stink. Avoid this place as it’s just not worth it.

Absolutely DO NOT stay here!!!! Please read. There are Bed bugs here. The owners know it too. See pictures and videos. There are cockroaches in the bedrooms, bathrooms and a mouse/rat chewed through our bag. Avoid at all costs. This is more of a halfway home, permanent residents. Loud, take phone calls in the middle of the night, zero consideration for others. We confronted the reception desk and they refunded us straight away without question or even seeing proof of bed bugs etc. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. No matter how cheap the stay is.

Una experiencia fatal. Siempre estaba sucio el baño y las duchas. En la habitación habían cucarachas, ratas y chinches. Además que la gente que se alojaba era muy sucia. Muy mala experiencia, nada recomendable.

La peor experiencia de mi vida. En mitad de la noche me encuentro llena de chinches y cucarachas. No le deseo ni un minuto aqui ni a mi peor enemigo. Tuvimos que irnos en mitad de la noche a buscar otro alojamiento porque encima nos rechazaban las llamadas al explicarles lo que pasaba. ATENCION A LAS FOTOS DE como se me quedaron los brazos en un par de horas estando allí. Mejor dormir en la calle. Obvio que nos hicieron un reembolso.

I stayed here for a week and got the worst experience here in this hostel. 1. The room The bed was quite small, there r cockroaches and bedbugs. If you stay in the mix room, lady, make sure not to get change there. Some guys try to sneak behind the curtain to look into my bed at night. There are some people who stay in the same room as me, I think they r family, and they are very noisy. They speak on the phone and open the music after 11pm even tho I tried to remind them. The price is cheap but well 2. The bathroom/WC They have 2 sections on 2 floors. All are small and dirty with very bad smell. They clean everyday but not carefully. The bathroom is super small for God's sake. 3. The staff I can say some of them are nice. But there is one young Chinese girl wearing glasses who r super rude. She shouted at customers (I heard most of every morning I stay here), for what? Trying to prove she's better than others? Hell no girl. I met her at the toilet section to wash my face, and she even got a mean look to me. Anyway, thanks to her I will never recommend this place to all my friends and my followers on Tiktok. As well as never comeback here again. 4. The internet Be prepared that the internet here just doesn't always work. It's quite slow in the evening . Overall, 1 star is already too generous from me to rate. I don't even want to give any star here.

I saw rats under my bed! There are cockroaches everywhere and also bedbugs.

The location of this hotel is very convenient, with a walking distance of about five minutes from the Little India subway entrance. You will have to bring literally everything to this hostel, including a lock to save your luggage (or pay 4$ to buy one from the clerk). Note that THERE IS BEDBUG IN THE BED, and you need to prevent your belongings from simply placing clothes, backpacks, and other items on the bed.

Stayed there during the F1 weekend. Love the location, vibrant neighbourhood with cool and original restaurants and bars, stores and markets. Easy to get vietnamese food or a fresh coconut in the next corner, an Indian pub close and the Metro and buses stations indeed give the place a thumbs up however, they have a weird concept about what hygiene means: - Dirty toilet/showers - Untidy room - Bedbugs - Dirty kitchen . The room is not really cheap . The staff is trying to do an effort but the management looks like they don't care about their business I was planning to find another place but the city was fully booked.

Stayed there for 2 nights on 1st - 3rd of July 2023. Here is my summary staying there : - Dirty toilet/shower - Untidy/stink room - Bedbugs - Autolocked door with no key/passcode provided ( have to ask someone to open from inside ) - Dirty pantry and kitchen - Wifi/internet not working after midnight ( both night ) The positive thing is the location is near to public transport ( bus and mrt stations ). the price for the room is not really cheap tbh

Don't bother. Really cheap but really bad too. We found bedbugs in the common room...
