Sin duda lo mejor del hostel fue el personal, muy atentos serviciales y amables. Aún así lamentablemente el hostel me parece demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. Pague habitación privada y no pude dormir varias noches ya que escuche a los huéspedes como si estuvieran metidos en mi pieza. Mi habitación tenía mal olor y no funcionaba bien la luz. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht und sind sogar eine Nacht früher abgereist. Der Preis war überhaupt nicht gerechtfertigt. Das Zimmer war klein und direkt an der lauten Straße. Wegen Motorrädern und Party konnten wir nicht schlafen. Die Fenster und Türen sind nicht abgedichtet, sodass es permanent feucht ist und zieht. Heel luid, zoals de andere recensies ook zeggen.. je hebt echt nooit rust want er komt muziek en lawaai van alle kanten. Ook niet proper, zeer harde matrassen en vuile dekens… het personeel is goed en willen wel helpen maar kunnen uiteindelijk niet veel doen. Wij zijn uiteindelijk een dag eerder vertrokken helaas.

Was not happy with our experience at this hostel. It’s a cute place the room was clean but as soon as we got there they said they have overbooked the rooms so we didn’t receive the one we initially booked which was a shock. we were in our room with door locked the receptionist knocked on our door repeatedly too tell us too be quite because we just laughed. Had a reservation for 2 nights. Arrived at 9pm, went straight there to do my checkin. Rang the doorbell for a good 15min. Nobody ever opened. Had to look for an other hostel until 10.30pm since it was super full everywhere. Finally ended up in a little room somewhere in a local house. At the end, better to me. I sent an email right away to the manager explaining the situation and saying that I would come tomorrow to get the money of the booking back. No response. Went there the next day. Nob...

Small room, super tiny bathroom like impossible to even hang the towel, bathroom door didn't close. The place might be nice but it rained all the time so we didn't use the garden and in general it was too messy and not social at all, if that is your vibe. Salento is packed with hotel/hostels I would choose something else considering that they all have similar prices.

This hostel is not social at all and the dorms had a horrible moldy stench. I also had to pay extra even though i paid a part through hostelworld. I was talking with the receptionist about how annoying that was (very calmly). She concluded that she could not do anything for me, which i understood and peacefully left. +Pros: The location and jacuzzi -Cons: The room and reception. Very unhappy with this place. We booked the 'luxury' room with the 'king size' bed, which is actually a foamy layer on top of two single mattresses, that create a gap in the middle of the bed that gave us back pain, barely any room to walk inside the room. Très déçu de voir que l’hôtel n’a pas du tout la même présentation En vrai que sur les photos, les chambres sont très humide et mal isolées. Difficile de bien dormir sur ses deux oreilles, de plus, le jacuzzi nécessite un paiement additionnel de 50 000. Pour le reste, le personnel est très gentil et très agréable. C’est un bon Hostel, d’appoint mais pas pour y rester plusieurs jours

There were more cats than people at the hostel. The staff were friendly but the hostel lacked atmosphere and to get from the dorm to the bathroom you had to walk across the hostel in the rain. There was also no water at all in the afternoon, through to when we checked out the next morning

Very nice accommodation in a great location, just a 2 min walk to the central square. Nice garden and chilling area, free coffee every morning. Organizes various tours from the reception, but Spanish speaking staff, which is fair enough. Could be a more social, but it was not super busy when I was there, so I’m sure it’s better when there’s more people. Overall very nice time here!

Très chouette auberge en plein cœur de Salento. Le staff est au petit soin. Les chambres propres et la douche chaude. Le billard gratuit est appréciable et le café du matin aussi. Le seul bémol est qu’il manque une passoire

Lovely Hostel just off the main square in Solento. Staff were all so friendly and helpful with recommendations. Little activity you can sign up for every night which helps bring people together. Jacuzzi was great so would highly recommend.

The hostel is incredible! The staff is super friendly and always willing to help! It’s also incredibly clean and in a great location.

Lovely relaxed hostel- perfect if you want somewhere you can get a good nights sleep, to relax in a hammock and potter about Salento. If you want more of a social atmosphere and to meet new people probably not the place. It has a homely feel and the staff are kind and welcoming. Only tip would be for the hostel to provide a few basic kitchen ingredients like oil/herbs/spices as travellers don’t usually carry these and it makes it more difficult to cook. Otherwise a lovely stay :)

Great hostel for a few days in Salento. Well located just off the main square and lovely communal spaces to relax in.

My friend and I originally planned to stay here for two nights but almost instantly decided to extend for an extra night due to the welcoming staff and very well kept facilities. Fabio, who ran the evening events, was excellent and a really genuine guy. I would highly recommend joining in on the tejo night!! Finally I couldn’t leave a review without giving a special mention to Romeo and Taki, the cats who would always jump on the hammocks with us!!!

Hostal Estrella dd Agua is truly a hidden gem in Salento. Staff was so friendly and helpful with everything. And what you can‘t really see on the pictures is how much heart went into it. The Rooms are well maintained, the garden is soo nice with plants and jacuzzi. There is great restaurants nearby, truly nothing to complain. Would definitely go again the next time I am in Salento.

This was the perfect stay for 1 night. Loved all of the hammocks, jacuzzi, and cats!! It was pretty clean and just 1 block from the center. Just know that the property has a lot of steep stairs! Overall I really recommend

Hôtel bien placé, personnel très gentil ! Peu sociable mais agréable

The stay was wonderful and the property is so gorgeous. Loved the jacuzzi and got to meet some amazing people here. The location is perfect too, very close to the centre where you can take jeeps to go to the hikes. The only downside would be the toilets being away from the dorms. Overall, the stay was great!

It’s okay, but wouldn’t stay here again. No social vibe at all. Too far between the dorm and restrooms.

Workers were great and helpful

Great hostel with a very central location and nice outside areas. Very social on some days but almost empty on others. They didn’t really check who really stayed in the hostel when entering the property so random people could have just walked in. The lockers are not in the room but closer to the reception which was a little annoying. The breakfast was good for the price and there’s 4 lovely cats living at the property. Overall a nice stay, I would come again.

A really lovely hostel. Only 2 dorms, so quite small, but it’s nice to get to know people well. Kitchen is functioning, could do with a few more utensils. Showers were GREAT, best water pressure I’ve had in Latin America! Jacuzzi was great too - but the events on hostel world aren’t the hostel events offered.
