Hostal Ciudad de Segorbe

we arrived after a whole day if travelling. we booked the 5 bed dorm. soon we saw that there were insects like worms and other on the beds so we we were at least offered to change the room. the new room was better but there was dark hair on the beds, the bathroom wasnt clean (bin was full, shower mat dirty, etc.). it was pretty loud as its directly at the street. the room smelled like cellar as it was above one.the staff was friendly. the breakfast was not good.

1. REALLY LOUD dorm It’s directly next to the main street. None of the 7 people staying while I was there could sleep. Even with air pods on it is too noisy. 2. Doesn’t feel safe. Most of the time the doors haven’t been closed and everyone from the street can easily enter the dorm. 3. No Atmosphere. If you are solo travelling I would not recommend that place as you do not really meet people and there are no social activities. I am really wondering about the good rating.

overall it has what you need, personally i prefer hostels with curtains that give you a bit of privacy even if in a dorm, no common activities and I had the feeling that it is not made to be a place to meet other travellers, the room faced the street which made me wake up every time a car or motorcycle passed by

Personnel très gentil et serviable, mais ménage non fait dans la salle de bain et le dortoir... Les fenêtres du dortoir donnent directement sur la rue au RDC, donc très bruyant le soir.

Staff are great and very helpful! We had a private double bedroom which was an ok size but the bathroom was really small. Also located on a busy road so very noisy. Overall a good stay at the hostel but maybe slightly over priced for what you get

Der Gastgeber war zu jeder Zeit vor Ort und zeigte sich aufrichtig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist ein extrem schönes altes Haus, dessen Innenhof gerade auch künstlerisch gestaltet wird. Unsere Zimmertür liess sich mit ein wenig Geschick öffnen, da sie leider klemmte.

Were 2 nights here very close to everything. Very nice staff. Nice rooms!

Lovely hostel and the staff are so friendly! The location is great, only 2 blocks from the centre of town and has a shop just next door! Definitely bring earplugs if staying in the dorm, can be quite loud in the morning as traffic passes!

Well, the beds are amazing and everything is clean. The breakfast is pretty basic, but ok. The only thing that really annoyed my during my stay was the noise. It is in the middle of a busy road and the windows/doors do nothing to keep the noise out. Even at night or sometimes at 3 in the morning the whole room got woken up by people shouting or playing reggaeton outside.

Gutes Hostel mit schönen sauberen Zimmern. Aufenthaltsbereich ist ordentlich und sauber. Frühstück ist inklusive. Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vom Hostel selbst werden keine Touren oder ähnliches angeboten, was in Salento aber kein Muss ist.

Muy bien ubicado, calido y limpio. La recepción siempre atenta y dispuesta a asesorar y a orientarnos a las actividades y que lugares conocer.

Super nice! Water is super hot which I love ! Very family oriented vibe — right near the center of the city.

This was a nice hostel in a perfect location (close to the bus station and the city centre) that offered a good stay. Of course the facilities are not always super super clean but that is normal when many people share it. I was able to leave some food in the fridge and adjust my checkout to earlier time (at 7am). Definitely bring earplugs and eyecover for sleeping in a shared dorm. I would stay there again. Thank you!

Nice, centrally located hostel! Only con is location right on the Main Street so you definitely hear a lot of cars, motos and people until late at night and early in the morning so earplugs would be a good idea. Other than that I was very satisfied with my stay there.

Extrem nette Hosts, kümmern sich sehr schnell um alle Angelegenheiten. Und wurde eine sehr tolle Reittour organisiert. Die Doppelzimmer sind geräumig und mit einem kleinen modernen Badezimmer ausgestattet.

Es un hostal muy limpio y lindo, quizás algo costoso para los que viajamos por cifras módicas, pero o atención del persona es grandiosa. Me gustó mucho.

Tolles authentisches Hotel, sehr bequeme Betten, neue schöne Bäder, sehr freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter. Einziger Punkt Abzug gibt es beim Frühstück, das war eher spärlich. Sonst war alles top!

We had a private room with an ensuite bathroom which was spacious, modern and clean. The beds were comfortable. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Being in the middle of the city, you get around by foot, but within a short time.

Gute Lage in Salento, nicht im Trubel, aber zentral und daher ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Nur morgens ist es etwas lauter auf der Straße vor dem Hostel. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben uns mit offenen Armen empfangen. Das Frühstück war inklusive, einfach aber lecker.

Jolie auberge, calme, personnel au petits soins. Pensez à réserver vos activités qq jours en avance (rio blanco, nevados..).

Good breakfast for free, hot shower, they cleaned the room daily, it very very clean and comfortable

Very nice hostel, but more of a hotel feel. I was the only person in the dorm. Nice warm comforter, towel and soap provided. Wifi worked but didn’t reach to the beds. Free coffee coupon included with stay and it was a delicious French press. Close to everything, but considering the size of Salento, everything is close! Incredibly friendly staff that gave me alll the recommendations and answered all my questions. Lockers with lock provided.
