Jin's Paradise

The room was super tiny and not like described and showed in the images. The price was way way way overpriced compared to the shoebox we got as a room. The room was on the attic far away from the showers and in a separate floor and right next to the roof that was super load and full of people every night.

The hostel is good for meeting people. However, Jin was a pretty creepy and dishonest guy. The private room which was pretty expensive was a mattress on a floor with the same square footage. It was not possible for one let alone two people to fit comfortably. Nevermind the luggage, that was not even remotely possible. The hostel itself was pretty dirty. Not recommended at all, you can have much better options than this overpriced hostel. Booked originally 2 nights in a private room, if you can call it that, 50 EUR for a little space the size of a tent. After the first night already left for another accomodation. I wish never booked at 'jins paradise' Very dishonest host, would not recommend. He knew I would leave a fair review in Hostelworld so he cancelled my booking despite already charged me full price. Much better places somewhere else in Seoul

Please don’t get the private room offer by this hostel. The room is in the attic area wheee you can’t stand up straight. There was no switch to charge your phone and the whole room was smelled as if the bedsheet was never cleaned. I can’t speak of any other shared rooms - only good things about the hostel was it’s location.

First of all, I am not really understand why there are so many good reviews about this Hostel and I am sorry for my bad one. However, I am just honest. Basically, the hostel is just a floor with some rooms and very old bunk beds inside. The facilities listed in property overview are not offered. Furthermore, the vibe is really strange. The most people there are just cut short, so as the owner. In summary, I expected something totally different from the description and pictures.

This place is basically an apartment run by one man and it highly discriminate the Chinese ppl. Few examples, Chinese ppl are being called "industrial spy" by host during whole stay. Host tell other guests behind Chinese guest back that rat soup is served in China (later changed to rabbit when asked for proof). Host assumed all Chinese cheats in relationship. He randomly assumes Chinese guest is privileged in china when their view is different. Etc. Apart from the discrimination, it's a small p...

Toilets are wet all the time, there's a shared slipper in them. Tolerable clean. Jin tries hard to accompany ppl.

Jim is the man, makes sure you're not alone, kind of like a chill party guest house, didn't get much sleep

Park is absolutely lovely. He helped us with so much to get to the airport. Definitely would recommend! It’s a very nice chill vibe.

Loved my stay at Jin’s Paradise. Place was clean and in a fantastic location. Jin made the stay even more enjoyable, always joking around, being fun, and welcoming. Very social hostel as well. A lot of fun on the rooftop and very easy to make friends. Will stay here every time I’m in Seoul.

Definitely a place worth coming back to!

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in! The location is perfect in hongdae and Jin is an absolute delight! He has a map and gives you loads of recommendations but most of all he is a natural connector, I met so many lovely people at Jins and it definelty felt like a family. The hostel itself is perfect and very homey. Everyday I was out and about with people from the hostel, everyone having dinner together and going out for drinks or chilling on the rooftop. I will defo be back!

Jin went out of his way to make sure everyone was taken care of and routinely opened the door for social interactions between guests.

Love the people there and Jin was wonderful. Steps checking in were spot on and best place to be if you want to be in the center of everything.

I love this hostel! i have never experienced a hostel were everyone felt so much at home. The hostel is super social and in an incredible location. Jin is always there for a chat and has great recommendations! I will definitely come back!

It was fantastic. Jin and it’s paradise was a super nice experience in Seoul. Beds were comfy. Jin even closed the blinds when he noticed you were on a night out. The terrace was super nice as well. Fully recommend!

Jin's Paradise is a hostel that feels like a guesthouse. He's the only one working there but he is awesome-very considerate and fun. The location is extremely convenient being so close to Hongik Univ Station (aka Hongdae) and is in the middle of a shopping street. Facilities are clean, the rooms stayed warm in winter, and lockers with keys were available (no personal padlock needed). My only qualm is if you get unlucky with a non-bottom bunk bed you don't get a curtain.

Jin is one of the most hands on hostel owners that I’ve met! Go check it out it is the absolute best location in Hongdae!

Jin is so nice and accommodating, provides great recommendations and is super helpful with navigation/ helping you get around the city! Great location, super easy to get to from airport and other go to spots. Lots of great food within 5 min walk from hostel
