Hostal Po

I liked the hostel per se. Big, well equipped kitchen, places to hang out, rooms as described and well located. But unfortunately parts of the staff let acquaintances sleep in free beds after partying, couples sharing beds. They just took what was free, even if it was a taken bed and the person just wasn't there atm. I personally think that's a no-go.

No hot water, Very loud during the night, thin walls, you can hear the creaking of the wooden floor boards, Staff unhelpful,

In de badkamer sloeg de schimmel op je gezicht als je binnenkwam. Hele plafond zat vol en je kon je kont niet keren. Verder moest je door een smerige rokersruimte in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte om naar de wc te gaan. Deze wc was slechts een wc pot in een vies zoldertje wat dienst deed als klushok. Informatievoorziening online en fysiek van de medewerkers kwam totaal niet overeen bv mbt roken en uren voor stilte.

Geen aanrader. Het hostel is heel donker doordat er weinig ramen zijn. Verder is het niet zo’n sociaal hostel. De locatie is wel goed en de kamers zijn prima.

Not the most social hostel for a solo traveler whilst I was there but was cleaned every day and good kitchen facilities. Duvet kept stabbing me with feathers poking out though

Showers had either cold water or none at all in the morning. When I asked about if about it they just said it was normal that the warm water wouldn’t reach the upper floor, super frustrating. Also, the pillows had a weird smell of urine…

Really good kitchen and the common space is nice but the vibes were pretty dead. Of course I may have just been unlucky but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking to meet people. Also the rooms and bathrooms didn’t feel that clean, though that could be more because they’re dark and dated.

This was an OK place to stay, the kitchen was really great if you’re looking for a place to cook, and the location is good too, right near the Cerros. However, I wasn’t impressed with the facilities; the bed covers were not great as the feathers were coming out of them, the showers were very small and it was difficult to wash properly, and the staff were not the most professional in my opinion. I’m pretty sure they took a drink of mine from the fridge that had my name on it. Overall OK tho...

Pretty good hostel. It’s in a great location of the city and the staff is super. It wasn’t very social and not many events going on, facilities are pretty standard. It was fine as a place to sleep but not really to hang out in

Bathrooms small, mouldy and dirty. Could do with a clean. Noisy rooms, you can hear every car driving past, and we were on the 3rd floor. Staff were great, although big stoners, but I guess that’s a hostel.

We changed from a dorm to a private room as the dorms were quite cramped and didn’t seem super clean. Our private room was great though! Hostel was more of an older people vibe less young people but still good! It’s in great location, staff were lovely and very helpful. Dog is super cute!

Très bien situé pour visiter les centres d'intérêts. Accueil très sympathique. Grande chambre claire avec des peintures murales. Grande cuisine/salon avec de nombreux ustensiles. Je recommande l'Hostal Po

Hostal Po is such a homely hostel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! My only complaint is the cleanliness of the bathrooms - there was black mould in the shower and hair on the walls. With saying that, I would happily say at Hostal Po again! Let’s just say that the vibes were immaculate

Auberge de jeunesse conviviale et bien située. En revanche, mal isolé et très bruyant.

Gemeinschaftsraum und Zimmer sind super, Wasserversorgung manchmal etwas schwierig

Super bel hostel, notre chambre avait une belle vue sur la rue et l’hostel est bien situé. Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. Tout était très propre. Le seul point négatif est que nous entendions toute la rue et les autres personnes dans l’hostel jusqu’à tard le soir. J’y retournerais!

Super hostel dans l’ensemble. Emplacement idéal, et personnel gentil. Cependant, les chambres n’étaient absolument pas isolées, on entendait chaque voiture passer.

Muy buena ubicación. Cocina gigante y muy bien equipada

This hostel was clean and comfortable and in a good location. It could be difficult to find staff sometimes and the water cut out both nights I was there (not sure if it was the building or a wider issue). But overall, a nice place to stay.

private room is massive! comfy bed and very clean! kitchen is also really well stocked, and makes cooking easy. common space isis super airy and light filled, there is no events organised by the hostel but its very easy to mingle in that space and meet people. good wifi
