One of the worst hostel I’ve been in montjs..

This place will be good when it’s finished… the downstairs is beautiful, the upstairs is currently a building site and the dorm rooms, beds and lockers need a refurbish. I’d recommend casa Piola (50m away) until the building works are finished! Very friendly staff.

This hostel is a complete no go zone. Half of it is literally a building site, the other half is a filthy, cavernous hall of echoes. Don't stay here, even if it's a last resort. The builders were working with power tools until 9pm, completely unacceptable.

It’s an alright hostel, it seemed like people were living in our dorms though and they felt like they owned it and were very rude to us and would come in while we were sleeping turn the lights on and play music loudly. I mean I get it hostels are loud and not private but that was just rude. The staff were extremely unwelcoming as well and if you try to leave the hostel at night you have to pay for a key to get back in after 1am. Just felt very unsafe and I welcomed here

This is a super lovely hostel, the pictures don't do it justice. It's a nice old building that feels modern with a lot of light and the beds are super comfortable. It's quite quiet and relaxed and comfortable to spend time in but also sociable and we went out for karaoke and made friends with the staff. It's also good value for money and in the perfect location for night life and the touristy areas of the city. I will come here again if I'm back in Valpo!

Sweetes hostel! Mega coole Küche, tolles Zimmer und Hammer Preis leistungs Verhältnis. Viele ältere Leute, nicht so wie man es sonst aus Hostel gewohnt ist. Aber Never mind - hatten ne sehr gute Zeit.

A very clean and comfortable hostel. The hostel is not at all social, so it was hard to meet people. I wouldn’t stay here again as a female solo traveler. I wish there was a women only dorm. There was one man in my dorm that made me feel uncomfortable, and I had been warned by a volunteer to be very careful around him. It was hard to relax after hearing that.

The hostel location is about 20 min walk to the touristy area but it felt safe enough! The hostel itself is very cute with great living area and kitchen, awesome clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The biggest issue is that the room has no windows so smells really bed and we had the window open to the hallway but any sudden movements would make the hall light turn on and shine into the room.

Hostel is very modern and has a relax vibe in the busy city. Kitchen and living room are great, bathrooms as well. However, the windows of some of the rooms are only connected to the hall and not to the streets, so there is no fresh air and there were not enough or no power outlets next to the beds.

I love it here so much I've already extended twice. This town is pure magic and deserves extra time. Hostal Licanantay is absolutely beautiful inside. High ceilings, great bathrooms, a nice kitchen. My favorite part is the beds though. This is the best sleep I've had in weeks. Why? Because the beds are extra wide, the mattresses are thick, and the bedding is comfy. The owner clearly loves this building and is making it very comfortable to stay. Highly recommend this place

super einrichtung, so herzliches Personal, alles sauber, alles sicher. es gibt echt nichts zu bemängeln!

Had a great stay here! Nice big kitchen, and common area, lots of showers, toilets etc. The location was on the other side of a large hill to the UNESCO area, however I loved the location, it was just up from some really great bars and the real local area, I’d stay again for sure

Gran hostal para quedarse en un barrio atractivo de Valparaíso. El staff y los voluntarios son muy amables. Las instalaciones del Hostel están en buen estado y lo mejor son los baños que están renovados. Volvería seguro!
