Overall the hostel is decent considering the location and difficulty getting supplies, however I stayed here one night and was absolutely attacked by bed bugs so I definitely wouldn’t recommend. Food was also very overpriced

BEDBUGS! I had bedbugs in room 11 (dorm). They just offered me another bed in the room and cleaned the same spots where the bed bugs were. I refused to sleep in the infested room so I took a private. The service was awful, no hospitality or excuse at all. They also used products on the bedbugs and still let people sleep in there, I doubt that this is healthy. It might even be dangerous!

Bed bugs in female rooms. I got severely bitten, lots of swelling. Food poisoning from beef at the restaurant. The staf is very nice.

Bedbugs in women's dorms. I got really badly bitten. Left the hostel in the morning and came back one hour later to get my towel, they were just changing the sheets, the mattress stayed.

Bed bugs! We checked in and as soon as we went into our room the cleaning staff came in checking our and the other beds in the room, changing completely clean sheets at 5pm and spraying something on the beds. We asked the staff whats going on but they would not tell us. Then we asked the reception to change the rooms and explained the situation that other reviews also mention bedbugs and the staff were really uncomfortable and avoidant about the whole situation.

We found Bedbugs in one of the curtains. The staff didn‘t care nor inform the other people in the room. They gave us another dorm but didn‘t do anything else in the bedbug room. Happy Hour is good, bathrooms are clean but without water pressure in the showers. All in all okay but you have definitely to check for bedbugs on your arrival!

Rooms not clean at all i get bed bugs look at this look no one cleans that They only change the duvet and leave everything else dirty.🤮🤮

BED BUGS!! Avoid this place! Zero customer service all they care about is money! I left after one night and they refused to give me money back. Basically stole £55 from me. Food is terrible. Got nothing good to say about this place!! Worst place I’ve stayed in Cambodia! This place is the pits

The worse place I’ve ever stayed in. Eaten alive by bed bugs. Left after one night and the stole £55 off me as they refused to give me my money back. Staff are money grabbers and nothing more. They don’t care about guests only money. Avoid like the plague.

Pretty certain i got bitten by bed bugs though, obviously can’t be certain about this but they definitely weren’t mosquito or sand fly bites.

I stayed in several Onerderz in Cambodia and this one has a great location just by the beach. And they have a free shuttle to the boat piers. The rooms are ok but I think my bed had bedbugs. Although I didn't saw them I got bitten during the last night there. You can pay everything by card and the restaurant has good prices. They just lack some vegetarian options with tofu in my opinion. They have water refill (paid but fair price) which is great to avoid consuming more plastic. There were some nights with loud music but not until after midnight. They have some sort of open air gym which allows you to do some simple workouts.

Reconsider staying here if comfort is important to you. No wifi or service in the rooms, A/C is on a set schedule from 9pm-10am and not very strong when it is on, none of the outlets or fans in the bunks work, no hot water, etc etc. overall not very clean, I found a bedbug on my pillow and brought it to a member of the cleaning staff nearby and she just squished it with her fingers and carried on. However staff and atmosphere was very lovely!

I stayed at this hostel and was happy until I woke in the night and found 3 bed bugs …. One was right next to my head…I had had loads of what I thought were mosquito bites. One got so badly infected it was growing and I even drew a line around it to check on it. I have never experienced bed bugs and never want to again. I was in a female only room. The first photo is of one of the bed bugs. The second is one of my badly infected bites.

Sad that I found bed bugs here. X 3 and had a sleepless night as had to leave room.

This hostel is definitely the best on the island. Food is good, drinks cheap and the Thursday night party was so fun. There was a lot of mention of bed bugs and I’m pretty sure this is where I got bit by them a lot. However the staff did check, couldn’t find any, and moved me anyway which was great.

I booked this based on great experiences on other Onederz hostels but to be honest, it’s far from their level. Quite dirty and we had a little bed bug scare too. The location is beautiful next to the beach and the gym was a nice touch but that’s about it. Also, there was a man taking photos of girls in bikinis and staff was alerted but they did nothing about it. We had a few other weird instances too, as a female traveller I did not feel safe in there. Doors don’t lock either.

This review will make me sound 60, but the place has promise. It's in a nice location, and the hostel buildings have a nice ambience. But it's let down by lack of much going on - they have organised nights but nothing actually happens other than some bad music on a speaker. Most people are in couples and tend to keep to themselves. The cleaners work endlessly to keep the place clean so I cannot fault that though there were definitely bed bugs.

The staff, mainly reception, are unfriendly and unhelpful. Either the beds were infested with bed bugs or it was just sand flies in general (still figuring what bit us) because literally everyone in the hostel just kept getting bit and the bites/marks are very visible, itchy and painful. The air conditioning timings were bizarre. There is only one shower with a heater and the rest have cold water (good for soothing the bites). Other than that, views are amazing and the beach was clear as day.

There was bed bugs in my bed, woke up with tiny bites ALL over my body. The staff didn’t seem to care.

Staff were awful, bed bugs everywhere, had blood on the walls. Food is awful, but at least it was on the beach.

Got bed bugs and cost $20 to get it properly done with zero compensation and still had to pay for a nights stay! Went back to the room after as left my charger and the bed was made up like nothing happened even after I told them!

Der erste Eindruck hat uns wirklich positiv überrascht! Ein schönes, nettes und sauberes Hostel mit gutem Essen. Beim Einchecken wurde uns dann mitgeteilt, dass die von uns gebuchten Betten im 6-er Dorm nicht (mehr) verfügbar seien und wir auf ein 8-Bett Zimmer ausweichen müssten. Das war nicht weiter schlimm, da wir die Einzigen im Zimmer waren. Dann die Ernüchterung...ich entdeckte zwei riesige Bettwanzen auf dem Bett und bat um ein anderes Zimmer. Leider war das Hostel zu diesem Zeitpunkt ausgebucht und meinem Wunsch konnte nicht nachgekommen werden. Es hieß lediglich, ich solle mir ein anderes Bett ohne Bettwanzen suchen. Im Laufe des Abends habe ich über 20 (!) weitere Wanzen in allen Betten des Raums entdeckt. Es hat so gewirkt, als sei das "Problem" bekannt, unternommen wird aber nichts dagegen. Daher würde ich davon abraten im Bett 17-24 zu nächtigen...
