The host was very kind and friendly, however, we felt that this listing was misrepresented in the description and photos. We do NOT like leaving bad reviews, but we feel it’s important for people to know that the location is in a part of town that is not as described. There was trash everywhere, broken down buildings and side walks, and we unfortunately did not feel very safe walking around - night OR day (we are two women). The hostel is really far from everything. The area around is very sketchy, every taxi driver told us it's very dangerous. Walking is not an option. Also our AC wasn't working for half the nights there. And on the last day we came back late and realized that none of our keys matched the front door. So all in all it's to expensive for what you get. I would not come back.

Staff were super lovely and helpful. location you will need a taxi but the taxis are cheap. Rooftop is great and bedrooms are nice and has AC!

Nice hostel (staff, equipment, roof top) just not in a good part of cartagene. didnt feel safe outside, even in daylight. the walking from downtown to the hostel = walking in really poor neighborhood / my girlfriend getting catcalled / etc. wouldnt go back there just because of where it us situated

Loved that it was 20 mins away from the centre. Rooftop was perfect, beautiful view of the sunset and the city, the kitchen was great. Staff were very friendly. However, the Only disappointing thing is we wasn’t explained that after check out if we used the kitchen, then we’d have to pay the manager 30,000 to use it. I explained nobody told us this but she still wanted the money. If we knew this we would have ate at a restaurant. Made us feel a bit sour

We liked la Terazza, ended up staying 9 days in the property. The staff was helpful, the rooms are clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the view is breathtaking, the only negative I have to mention which might be a dealbreaker for some is that the there was only 1 Wi-Fi line working, the second floor. So first floor and ground floor is ok but there was no internet on the third floor where the kitchen is and no internet on the terrace unfortunately this did not get solved in 10 days :(

The room was great and the staff were very welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped, but the fridge and freezer struggle with the heat and some of our food went bad within two days. There's lots of outdoor space and hammocks to relax and the view is great. We were able to leave our bags for free while we went to Minca for a couple of days. The entrance is locked with padlocks which is a bit fiddly but felt secure enough. It's very far from the centre so we ended up spending a lot on taxis.

Mi novio y yo tuvimos el mejor tiempo en este hostal súper lindo. Después de haber viajado mucho, buscamos un lugar donde pudimos descansar. Este fue el lugar perfecto.. la vista es increíble, la piscina es maravillosa y el personal es tan amable. Me hicieron sentir como parte de la familia.. también me gustó mucho la cocina y el desayuno super rico abajo de un árbol de mango tan precioso. Gracias por todo!! The hostal was tremendous value for money and a great place to stay. Yes, you do have to take a taxi into town but that's cheap and straightforward. The area felt safe and I walked to various restaurants in the dark without any issue. My only frustration with the property is that the A/C is only switched on between 9pm and 8am. This important information I could not find at all when booking so further transparency is needed there.

mega cooles Hostel. Atemberaubende Aussicht auf die große Skyline von Cartagena. Sehr großes Hostel, extrem Sauber. Super nette Besitzer. Küche voll ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Viele Badezimmer mit WC und Dusche. Die Dachterrasse ist das Highlight. 300 Meter entfernt sind 2 D1 Supermärkte mit allem was man braucht. Bus Anbindung ist super und 1KM entfernt ist der Hauptmarkt. Immer wieder gerne hier.

Decent hostel for the price. Staff very friendly and helpful. But facilities are pretty basic and it’s quite far out of town - on balance it’s probably worth paying a bit more to stay in getsemani. Also very hot in the rooms and we were only allowed to use air con during the night.

Really nice place, but pretty far out of town. I got ubers to and from here for very cheap when getting around. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, very clean, just perhaps not the best place for solo travellers because of the location

We had a lovely time here. We stayed for 4 nights and then returned for more when we came back. Is a nice family home vibe with comfy rooms if you want to feel a bit at home. Chill relaxing hostel with a gorgeous view on the roof and the area is a local area which is nice to be surrounded by. Would stay here again especially for the price & 20min Uber into main area which is super cheap too!! ❤️

It was ok for the price but we didn’t enjoy much of the jacuzzi, it was always closed. The people is lovely and they have a big common kitchen for many people to use at once. The only problem was that every uber driver was mentioning how dangerous that area is and didn’t recommend to go anywhere around even to look.
