St Christopher's Inn Shepherd's Bush

I stayed here a couple of months ago and had a great experience. The manager at the time was nice, everything was clean, and it felt like the perfect place to stay. Unfortunately, this time was completely different. It seems like there may be new management, because the lady who said she was the general manager was very rude and unhelpful. The room was dirty, there were blood stains on the duvet, and the bathrooms were disgusting. Really disappointing compared to my previous stay.

One word TERRIBLE

One of the worst hostel experiences I’ve had. The rooms were full of bugs, and I even saw rats in the corridors at night — it felt really unhygienic and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the woman who said she was the general manager (a big blonde lady) was extremely rude and dismissive when I raised concerns. Overall, a very unpleasant stay and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The young man Racquiev tired at the check in desk was interested in accusing a tired traveller of having an attitude problem and when I informed him I had indeed paid for my previous visit and was happy to show evidence he accused me of being ‘guilty’ and threatened not to let me stay and then said ‘how many times are you going to apologise’. Pretty shocking behaviour but I guess normal in a crappy hostel. Interesting welcome and massively disrespectful.

Absolutely disgraceful experience 0/10. This place is a complete scam. The staff are shockingly rude, shouting at customers instead of helping. Zero customer service they ignore you when you need. When my courier arrived with my luggage, I asked them to call me , they completely ignored the request. My bed was cleaned a full day before check-out. My charger disappeared and even a bottle of water was taken. This feels dishonest and borderline fraudulent. I would strongly advise to stay far away.

BUNCH OF RACISTS!! DO NOT COME!! 1) They moved my belongings twice and said the "system" said i wasn't checked in. 2) Demoted me to a room with more people. 3) Blocked my card twice on entry. 4) Staff harrassing me throughout my stay asking me tp identify myself in front of everyone. 5) the staff had the aucadity to tell me to calm down or hes going to call the police. Then again theres nothing white people do that people do that suprises me!

The room I was in smelled so terrible as if there was an old dead body inside. This is not the staffs fault of course but I do wish there was more management around who can stay at this hostel as most of the people in my room were smelly or creepy

DONT STAY HERE IF YOUR A FEMALE SOLO TRAVELER. the whole experience was horrendous and I’ve never felt more unsafe in a hostel

The hallways and rooms had a very strong bad smell, the shared toilets were unflushed in every stall, and the shower area smelled strongly of urine. no kitchen, small lockers, the bathrooms where so smelly we couldn't breathe. didn't take a shower for three days because it was so gross. the location was fine though.

This hostel is perfect for a short trip of 2-3 days, you'll have a clean bed, a shower and you can store your luggage. However, you will wake up every few hours because someone is either leaving or arriving in your dorm. I wore earplugs but its a small space so you can hear every sound and the bunk beds are three stories high so every time someone moves in their sleep the whole bed frame shakes. The staff was friendly but when I asked for them to please refill the toilet paper, nothing happend.

Overall I loved staying at this hostel. Situated in a safe area and close links to Central London

The best hostel I have stayed in since coming to London. Super fun and friendly staff shout out to Billy the manager and Beau for the drink at the bar and for making my stay great. The hostel is very clean and modern

very cheap but get what you pay for. I expect cleanliness to be a minimum but the bathrooms and coridoors were filthy. sick literally everywhere.

excellent hard working staff, tube station five minutes, wetherspoons five minutes away

I had a great stay at St Christopher’s Hostel. The atmosphere was welcoming and the facilities were clean and comfortable, making it a really good place to stay while traveling. What stood out the most was how friendly and helpful the staff were. A special shout-out to Beau and Billy, who were especially welcoming and made the experience even better with their positive attitude and great service. I had sent an email to ask for a bottom bunk. I arrives I was told none was available. I got a middle bunk it was difficult to get into and out of. The room was too hot.

Very good hostel with friendly staff. Billy was very helpful during check in.there is also a bar downstairs

I stayed in the female 9 beds dorm for three nights and I found it peaceful and clean. The shower thou need a little bit of more cleaning. For the price is a good place.

a bug was biting me when I was sleeping. Didn't like it.

Bathrooms were not very clean and need to be checking more regularly, but the staff was SO nice and attentive

Showers and toilets were dirty, no warm water only freezing. Entrance is in a sports bar which makes it a predominantly 40+yrs old male environment. None of the lockers in my dorm were working, the handles kept turning and opening even with my lock put in. Would not recommend especially as a young female solo traveler
