No wifi in room 1. I was put in a room in the basement (room 1) and the windows were directly on street level so the noise from outside was terrible. Also because the room was in the basement, whenever someone was going up and down the stairs we could hear the heavy steps.
Mediocre for the price. The bunks were very basic with the top bunk just getting a tiny iPhone sized shelf. The plug barely worked to charge anything. My biggest issue is no wifi outside the lobby which is small and basic. My room was on the first floor. Not sure why they couldn’t have wifi throughout as most hostels do. Breakfast was not worth the cost either. Walk around the corner and get something better for only slightly more. Overall it was FINE. Just expected more for the price.

It doesn't have a hostel atmosphere with net rooms, but I'm 56 and my son is 14 and came from other net-functioning hostels.
well located in the center of london but that's it. Unfortunately I saw mousses in my bedroom and it is not normal to see that in a professional place, even an hostel.
Die Lage des Hostels ist super und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Der Preis für ein einfaches Hostel sehr hoch, was aber natürlich auch an dem Preisniveau in London liegt. Allerdings ist der Zustand des Zimmers für den Preis nicht angemessen. Die Matratzen sind völlig durchgelegen, was bei dem Rost aus Drahtgitter nicht so ideal ist. Es gibt im Zimmer keinen Tisch und der einzelne Hocker aus Stoff ist völlig verdreckt.
The location of the hostels is great and the staff very friendly. The price for a simple hostel is very high, but of course it was also at the price level in London. However, the condition of the rooms is not appropriate for the price. The mattresses are completely spread out, which is not so ideal with the Drahtgitter Rost. There is no table in the room and the individual Stocker is completely dirty.

PROS: Great location, facilities are decent beds are nice, ear plugs provided in reception, machine for sweets available. CONS: Unpleasant atmosphere outside the Dorm slept in, can hear the St.Pauls Cathedral ringing at night (every 15 minutes and every 1 hour - making it harder to sleep at night), shower was dirty and on the hallway, dorms felt a bit outdated. SUMMARY: Does the job, you will sleep well, but don't stay more than 1 or 2 nights.
The staff is nice and welcoming. The location is good. The rooms are ok, but no intimacy, curtains would be great, it is hard to get some sleep otherwise: The door is really noisy, so it wakes everyone up each time it is opened. And one of the beds is right in front of the door. and the washing basin in the room is used all night and very early in the morning by the roommates, plus it is really noisy as well. They woke us up at 6 or 7 lights on,noisy.... only one shower for about 20 people

Very good hostel, and very good location
There is very friendly staff and the reception is 24 hours open. Its not a problem to check-in after midnight. The price was a little bit to high for me, otherwise I would like to spend two days. But I really like this hostel.

Amazing and accomodating staff and overall it has a good standard of cleanliness. Placed in the heart of Saint Paul and at a very good location.

the gents in my dorm room were a little rude with phone scrolling noise and turning on the overhead light without considering others trying to sleep. the facility is fairly clean, though they could pay closer attention to WC’s getting disgusting. i was happy that this location offered storage lockers for my heavy £2-3 after checkout for the day.

we loved the location, close to lots of things; the room was spacious, lockers were more than big enough for our cabin baggage + backpacks. room was a bit warm but there was a fan inside that we could use. the thing i didnt like was the lack of hangers and shelves in the shower and toilet. the lack of them made getting a shower a bit tricky. but ovoveral we really liked the property and i would return here if i travel to london again. the breakfast was also very good!

Ideal location and super great staff, safe and clean too. A few issues - wifi is only in the downstairs common area. The rooms are also so incredibly hot even in springtime, and there fans provided but they are really loud and both nights I stayed involved disagreements with other guests about whether to turn the fan on over the noise or bear the heat.
It's okay to get to sleep
Great location for visiting London but the hostel is basic. There was no wifi in the room. It was very noisy (lots of school groups), the common spaces are basic, the rooms aren’t cleaned very often.
Nice hostel. Exactly what I expected. No issues, clean, safe. Didn’t get to see the common areas so can’t comment on that. Would stay again!
It was a good and comfortable stay! The location was good and price was pretty affordable
